Jack J's POV:
I lift my face up from my pillow, hearing a familiar sound. It's my phone vibrating on the nightstand next to my bed. I pick it up to read the screen, it's a text from Gilinsky.
Jack: Dude where are you??
- I reply within two minutes
Me: Getting ready for school why?
- I lie
Jack: Just checking normally you forget and dont show up :p
- I can literally see him sticking his tongue out. He's so cute, I drop my face back into my pillow smiling hard. He could never know about my feelings for him, it would ruin our friendship.
Me: Well thanks for checking I'll be there in a bit :)
Jack: Ok
I get up from my bed and walk over to the window to open the curtains. I groan at the thought of starting my day.
After I finish getting ready my mom gives me a ride to school. "Have a good day!" She says from the car pulling away.
I go to my locker to grab the essentials for first period, I shut my locker and look down the hall to see Jack staring at me.
He looks startled when I spot him he looks down. Almost like he didn't want me to catch him? Weird.
I walk over to him, "Hey." I smile, he smiles back. "Hi-" his girlfriend Isabel interrupts him, "Hey cutie." She says kissing Jack on the cheek. "Hey babe." He says back looking away from me.
Jack and Isabel have been dating for almost 3 months now. I get jealous whenever they're together, but she makes Jack happy so I ignore my feelings.
"Hey Jack!" She says smiling. She's a happy person from what I've seen. "Hi Isabel." I say with a light wave.
The bell rings for us to go to first period.
"C'mon babe let's go we can't be late." Isabel says pulling on his arm, looking away from us. "I'll see you later?" He asks raising an eyebrow pointing to me.
"Definitely." I smile, a little too hard.
