Are you afraid of me or what I've become?
Can you trust me with a gun?
I won't take a knife to your back
Give me the chance to see the real me for who I am and not a monster from hell.
Don't damn me to what I thought was once paradise because now it cannot compare to my happiness.
Take the time to fulfill your dreams and let me in.
See me for who I want to be and guide me through the bumpy roads and currents in this river of death.
I will survive with the help of you.
Hold me when I'm weak and I will lift you up when you are down.
Too soon?
It comes when you least expect it so don't pass it by.
I am not to be feared but embraced.
No knife will stab you in the back as long as you hold me I will lift you up when you are down.
Follow your inner judgement.
Hurt will happen to the ones you love but do what you feel is right.
They will heal because even though they push you away physically you know you would lift them up from the ground from your doing.
Embrace the fear and passion.
Utilize it as a weapon.
But never a gun or knife.
I won't take a knife to your back, but I will fill you with what you so crave and deserve.
To be loved and not afraid.
