Giddy feelings when you see
them in the hallways in school.
Nervous moment the first time he meets the family.
The first hug is
so warm and inviting.
After a few dates
and late nights on the phone.
Random question
and interesting conversations.
Greatest feelings especially
when he first kisses you.
You blush and he acts shy
and scared you might hurt him.
Such innocence.
Holding hands under the lunch table.
Sneaking side glances.
There's nothing like it
until someone gets hurt.
