Demons In Disguise

Alex couldn't believe her eyes, two of them? How could they even seperate like this? She watched in shock as the demon had Gerard by the throat, lifting him up against the wall his feet flailing as he was losing oxygen.

'Do you still have your powers?!' She yelled across at him causing the demon to turn to her with an evil smirk. She couldn't take her eyes off him but the distraction had given Gerard enough time to produce a fireball in his hand and slam it into the ribs of the demon sending him flying backwards. She ran then, across to where Gerard had dropped to the floor and was now holding his neck. As she fell to the floor next to him she noticed the familiar handprint burned into the skin on his neck that now matched hers.

'We need to fight with our powers, the fireball worked you need to keep it up ok' she spoke fast not taking her eyes from the demon clutching his side across the room.

'I don't know if I have the strength it was draining my energy' He sounded as worried as she felt.

'Use my energy I know you can drain it, I'll work on keeping it up Haylea taught me a few spells' she took his hand and started to recite the words Haylea had taught her hoping this was going to work.

Hayleas P.O.V

She was sat in the back of the car, Alex's head in her lap trying to read through the notes she had been making over the last few days. There had been a few accounts online she had found but it had taken some digging and the information was patchy. In one account of a Cambion they had been unsuccessful and the demon side had split from it's human side eventually killing them. In another they had had managed to merge the two permanently and this was the one she was pinning her hopes on. She hadn't thought she would need the information but with how they found Alex she was glad she had noted down the spells used.

Ray was going to have to help her, his magic was really blooming now, but he was going to have to calm down this anger first. She took to explaining to Frank and Ray what she needed from them when they arrived even though they had no idea how things were going to go down. At least they had some preparation.

Eventually they pulled up outside the house, the apprehension making the air thick in the car. Ray got out first walking to the back and lifting Alex back up in his arms, his face a mix of worry and fury. She got out holding onto Frank's arm nervous at what they would find this time as it was starting to feel like bad deja vu.

Frank hammered on the door mumbling obscenities to be greeted by a stressed looking Mikey. His hair was a mess and he looked like he hadn't changed his clothes in days, The dark circles under his eyes aged his thin face.

'I'm glad your here quickly come in!' He said as he ushered them inside. Walking through the door they were greeted by what felt like a million candles, the walls dripping with paint from sigils that had been painted all over them. Haylea felt her heart drop, she recognised some of the sigils and they were bad news, something was being summonded here, was Gerards demon back for real? The door suddenly slammed shut making them all jump as she heard a guttural growl from behind them sending shivers down her spine.

'Run to the bedroom now' She whispered to the guys before turning around to see a demon incarnation of Mikey standing in front of her. She should have realised sooner, picked up on his energy but she had been so distracted everytime she met him by chaos in one way or another. He was Gerards brother of course he was Cambion too. Was this his doing?

'I'm so glad you all turned up now I can take care of you all together. I'll release my brothers demon soon and we are going to have so much fun with you' He snarled his black eyes shining with delight.

'What do you mean release his demon, he took it over its him now' She asked needing to know so she could be prepared.

'I summonded his demon back up, together imagine the chaos we could cause, the pain we could inflict! Maybe we should start with you'
