~Well here goes my story, hope you like it. It's in Sophie's point of view for the most part, unless it states Matt's P.O.V. at the beginning of the chapter. Well this is gunna be fun...~
Preface-
When little Maybell was born, her parents threw her away onto a doorstep. The victim of this unlawful little gift was Sophie McDonall and even though she wasn't expecting the package she received the morning of December 21st 1984, she accepted it and brought it into her life anyway. This little girl grew up, responding to the name of Rosalie-Anna and she was a very beautiful person, inside and out. She was clever, caring and had a great understanding of life in general, even when she was young. She progressed faster than other children her age and she was boosted and pushed by Sophie. Rosalie, also known as Rose to most of her many friends, had the brightest and biggest blue eyes and hair as golden as the sun. Her smile lit up the room and her laugh scared any bad away. She was any parents dream and everyone secretly envied Sophie that it was her the little girl was given to.
As Rose grew, she became closest to two other girls, Julie and Margret. Julie has straight black hair and wise grey eyes. She was very clever and laid-back. Usually the words that came out of her mouth were helpful and appropriate to the current situation. She's the one Rose turned to for advice and aid. Margret was a flamboyant redhead with bright green eyes and flouncy locks. She usually rambled on about the latest trends and her favourite boy bands. She was the one Rose turned to for anything fashion or gossip because she seemed to know it all.
Now little Rose is 16 physically and 28 mentally she doesn't get the satisfaction she used to when she ate or drank normal human food, it just leaves her more hungry than before and her veins seem to burn. Thousands of animals have died at her expense and sadly a couple dozen humans too. But they'll never be found, due to all the corpse's being ripped apart so viciously and scattered around the world.
Rosalie is a Vampire and that was why she was discarded by her family. It all switched on when she was 16 and she's been stuck in time for 12 years. Her first kill was Sophie after 3 days of unquenchable hunger her true primal instincts took over and she had no control. Then she turned into a full blown ripper and murdered many people in her village, including many of her school friends.
Since then, she has moved twice and changed her identity as well, first being an exchange student from England wanting to see the American way of teaching. Her name there was Julie, in memory of her wise and easygoing friend, the one she missed dearly. The second place she went was Spain, posing as a Spanish student from England having practical study. Her name here was Margret, in memory of her excitable and all knowing friend, that her heart also ached from missing. Now Rose will be travelling back to England to a remote village called Oakland. Throughout her many travels, she has learnt to control the craving of human blood and has learned to live off of animal blood. She did this so blending in would be easier, as she still looks 16 and can influence people around her to believe she was up to 5 years younger or older, and as a 11-21 year old, she is still bound to a school life.
Being around humans in school is risky, but human blood is almost as unsavory as normal food to Rose now.
She can go unnoticed in the sunlight because Vampires don't sparkle or burn in the sun, they actually reflect it like a mirror, but it can be hidden by an object that has been charmed and is never taken off the Vampire's person. Rose's object was Sophie's Grandmother's 15 carat wedding ring.
Rose traveled to Oakland and decided to disguise herself as a 15 year old living with her grandmother in the neighbouring village, just there to attend the school. Rose decided to use Sophie as her name and she cleverly used her Abilities to coax a old women to let her stay in her spare room. Rose, or now known as Sophie, made her way to Oakland High, this was the beginning to her 6 year stay there -- or so she thought...
