We were at the restaurant, everyone just chatting and having a good time. There really wasn't any tension in the room and we were all just enjoying each other's company.
I thought me and Dalton would have more awkwardness between us but after we talked, we were really cool.
I honestly did still have feelings for him but I was scared to let him know anything. It was too soon and how was I supposed to be sure he wasn't going to leave again?
Luka and Vita's attention had pretty much been taken up by Kayden so it was just us four conversing. (Me, Dalton, Hunter, and Rosa)
"I can't believe you guys are trying for a baby now. I thought you were innocent Rosa." Dalton joked as we all laughed and Hunter just hugged Rosa into his side.
"Don't do Roro like that. She's finally getting some." I joked as Rosa just blushed and hid her face in Hunter's chest.
"Where did you guys go for your honeymoon again? I forgot." Dalton asked, trying to get caught up on our lives.
"Hunter took me to Costa Rica." Rosa smiled, catching the attention of Luka and Vita.
"You guys are so lucky. I need a damn vacation." Vita rolled her eyes, sipping on her drink as we all waited on our food to come out.
"Doesn't your cousin live in Arizona?" I asked Vita, trying to see if she knew what I was hinting at.
"Yes, she does." Vita smirked, knowing what I was hinting at.
We both shared a look with Rosa and we suddenly dropped the topic. I knew we would talk about it later, preferably when the boys weren't around.
Moments later, our food came out and we all smiled at the sight of the delicious food. This dinner was going a lot more well than I thought it would and I was happy there wasn't anymore awkward tension between me and Dalton.
"Aspen, I wish I could make it to the show tomorrow but this new movie has my time taken up." Vita said, catching everyone's attention.
"It's okay. There will always be more. I'm not looking forward to tomorrow though." I rolled my eyes, taking a bite of my food.
"Why not?" Dalton asked, directing my gaze over to him.
"There's this annoying ass girl who's gonna be there. She always has something to say and tries to outdo me in literally everything." I explained, seeing the looks on everyone except Dalton's faces grow annoyed.
