"I'm coming babies

"I'm coming babies." I groaned, turning on my stomach and burying my face in the pillow.

I sighed before lifting my head up, looking at the baby monitor on my nightstand. The sound of loud cries filled my ears as I threw the blanket off of me.

I slowly got out the bed, walking out of the open room door. I walked across the hall to the girls room, looking through the open door.

I saw Diara crying in her crib, kicking in the air. I sighed and walked over to her.

"Hey, mommy's baby." I sighed, picking her up and smiling at her.

Her cries died to down to just her whining as she pulled at the top of my shirt. I looked back at Acacia and saw her just staring up before she looked at me and smiled.

"Where's your daddy, baby?" I mumbled, pulling my shirt down as she latched on.

I went and sat down on the chair I usually fed them in, patting her diaper. Diara was definitely the more high maintenance one out of the two.

She was always crying just to be held and she wanted to be around me or Dalton 24/7. Mainly me.

Acacia was quiet and really a daddy's girl while Diara was a mommy's girl. But for some reason Dalton had been out late lately and he wouldn't tell me why.

I didn't really care because I know he wasn't cheating. He never gave me a reason to believe that and never acted suspicious in any way.

I looked down and saw Diara was done. She was just laying in my arms, smiling at me as I smiled back.

"Mommy loves you baby." I told her, bringing her closer to me and kissing her cheek.

I sighed, knowing she wouldn't go back to sleep in her crib. I shifted her to sit on my hip as I saw her try to keep her eyes open.

I walked out the room and laid her on the bed before quickly going back to get Acacia. She smiled and clapped her hands as I picked her up, making me smile.

I walked into the room again and placed her down beside her sister. I laid pillows on the side of the bed so they wouldn't fall off.

I laid down and saw them falling back asleep again. I know I should get them used to their cribs but I didn't mind having them fill the empty space in the bed while Dalton was gone.

Also, I hated being separated from them but we're not gonna talk about that.

Right as I was about to sleep, my fucking phone started ringing. I was hoping it was Dalton but I sighed when I picked it up.

It was a group facetime from the girls.

I answered and turned down the volume, rubbing my eyes as I looked at the screen.
