Chapter One: The Misadventure

'Eleven!' A familiar voice called from the echos and high pitch screaming. 'Eleven! You have to stay with me!'
As the screams and echos faded, Eleven closed her eyes. Smoke, and Demolition done.
'Eleven!..'

Six Weeks Earlier
The Wheeler Basement

Mike, Will, Max, Lucas, Dustin and Erica stood around, huddled in Mike's basement.
Mike kept pacing back and fourth, which was irritating Erica.

'Would you STOP, loser?' Erica mumbled

'Erica!' Lucas and Dustin both screamed. Mike just glanced, and put his finger to his mouth.
A few seconds of silence passed.

'Okay. Eleven would want us to do the right thing, guys. So let's do that. I.. I think we should probably..' Mike started

'Hey. We can wait, Mike. If it's too soon.. to.' Max said

'No. No! Hawkins can't wait, and neither can we. The upside down is evolving to fast, especially since Nancy broke the time curse and it's been moving like real time' Mike said squeezing at his brain.

'He has a point' Nancy said, entering the basement from above. Robin Buckley, Steve Harrington, Eddie Munson and Nancy all gathered at the bottom within seconds.

'We've found Eleven. We know how to get to her, but here's the catch...' Nancy said crossing her arms.

'Where! Is she okay?' Mike asked worried, instantly rushing to Nancy.

'She's with Brenner again. They've caught her and they are trying to help her not be a danger to herself right now. It's all really hard on Eleven right now.' Nancy tried to explain.

'With Brenner? Are you kidding me? We went to Nevada to save her from that asshole and now she's with him again?' Mike asked angrily, he than stormed off upstairs.

Nancy let out a sigh, as did some of the others. 'Has he been this grouchy all day?' Nancy ended up asking.

'He was trying to come up with a plan.. we all are. We just don't know what to do, or how to help him right now. He's so upset over this' Max said crossing her arms in her lap

'I'll go talk to him' Lucas said getting up, ushering Dustin to come.

'Me?' Dustin asked confused and pointing to himself.

'Yes, you idiot.' Lucas snarled walking up the stairs. Will looked in confusion but sat there in silence.

Mikes Bedroom

Mike sat on his bed, in silence for a moment. You could see he was visibly upset but didn't want to show it. A knock on the door startled him.

'Go away!' Mike yelled.

'It's me.. and.. Dustin?' Lucas announced from the other side. 'Could we come in for a sec?'

A few seconds of silence passed, and than a click of a lock, and the door was opened with Mike in the doorway. He moved out of the way allowing the two into the room, and than Re closed the door. Lucas sat on Mike's bed, and Dustin fell onto his bean bag chair in the corner. Mike stood awkwardly in the middle of the room though.

'So uh.. how can I help you guys?' Mike asked confused

'We want to know what's going on.. what your thinking in there. We know loosing Eleven was going to be hard. But you have to accept that she did this, Mike.. we all do' Dustin sighed, with a look of guilt over his face.
