Chapter 12: Absolutely disgusting

Aspheera, Pythor and Peacebreaker were incredibly tired after a full day and half a night reviewing ancient documents. Finally, after dusk due to lack of energy, they fall. They rested their heads on the table and fell asleep. Peacebreaker was the first, lazily opened her eyes and lifted her head from the table.

Pythor and Aspheera slept like children, using the scrolls as pillows and slumbered with smiles on their faces. Peacebreaker snorted and got up from the table. She stretched her muscles and spread her wings with a yawn.

She left the pair in the room and headed for her quarters. With exhaustion, she rushed into her personal bathroom and immediately went to shower. After removing her armor and shoulder pads, she jumped under the warm water.

After washing herself, she stepped out of the cubicle and shook the water off her body like a dog, before taking a towel and wiping herself off. She clothed her armor back and left the room. She picked up her blade, which was leaning against the bedside table, and left the quarters.

She was walking to the storeroom where Lloyd, bound by chains (he destroyed the cage during the fight), when she stopped at the sound of a conversation.

She stood still and looked in the direction of the voices. She slowly walked around the corner and leaned out, seeing Vangelis and Mechanic. Both of them were talking fiercely about something.

- I'm really starting to doubt this "great" plan of this Crystal King. We do nothing, but wait for his guidance. Instead of looting and making a confusion in the city we are waiting here and doing nothing.- complained Vangelis, exaggeratedly gesticulating.

- Yes, but he gave us powers! Do you see these armors? Do you really think he gave them to us for no reason? He probably has a plan that takes time. Do you want to be caught by these ninjas! Because I don't!- explained the Mechanic.

- And have you seen this Harumi? She's just nothing more than a mere servant for this mist from crystal. She is gazed at him like a picture and absolutely trusts him. It's too stupid, but for her it seems to suit her.- Vangelis spat with distaste.

- Come on! She's even pretty good. So pretty, but also mouthy and bossy. I like such women. Have you seen her figure!?- said the Mechanic with a nasty grin.

Peacebreaker put her hand on the wall and firmly clamped her claws on it and drove it down, creating a decent scratch. Corruption growled at Mechanik's words, which were absolutely disgusting. After all, she's still a child! He's got it bad in his head to the hell or what!? Who does he think he is!?

- You're actually right. There is a lot to look at.- Vangelis agreed.

Peacebreaker's eyes widened, then she squirmed and with a quick, loud step approached the couple and looked daggers at them.

- What is going on here!! You have no shame!!? You guys are absolutely disgusting! Harumi is your leader, thanks to which you owe her a lot! Freedom and work for the hell!! You have no right to think of her as a worthless servant and slut!!!- she yelled at them with a growl.

The Mechanic and Vangelis gasped with fear and shuddered at Peacebreaker's angry shout. The colors from their faces disappeared and they fell to their knees before her.

- We, we, we only....

- SILENCE!!!

Peacebreaker roared and deepened her glaring look. She grabbed the two by the necks and pinned them to the ground. They both swallowed hard and stared into Peacebreaker's fiery eyes.

- Don't get angry, sorry!-cried the Mechanic.

- If I hear any insult about our leader again. I will put my blade at your throats and chop your bodies into pieces and....

The mechanic and Vangelis wriggled, trying to free themselves by quietly mumbling for her to release them.

- Yes and your already chopped bodies I will give to the Elm of the Dark Realm. To the great, monstrous tree, that feeds on humans. And you will become nothing but mere feed.... For the monsters. You understand.

The mechanic and Vangelis nodded their heads frantically. Peacebreaker roared in their faces and let them go.

- Bye!!

With a squeal of tires, they both ran away from Peacebreaker, disappearing around the corner. Corruption was panting heavily and smoke was coming out of her nostrils.

- Men. What a horrible species.- muttered Peacebreaker angrily to herself.

She slowly started walking to the warehouse, where she saw Harumi talking to Lloyd, who was awake. 

- And how does our prince feel? - Peacebreaker asked mockingly.

- Pretty awesome, actually. Thanks for the question.- said Lloyd sarcastically.

- Meh. I don't care anyway. Just for the sake of principle I asked.

- So, back to the conversation. Do you accept the offer, the Crystal King and join his council?

- I already told you.... NO!!!

- For Deep Magic, and he's again at it again. Come on, do you really want to end up as a crystal figure?- said Peacebreaker, rolling her eyes.

- Maybe! I'm on the side of good, no matter what! I am loyal to my people and not like some.... Who betray us.- he spat out with hatred looking at Peacebreaker.

- (Y/N) didn't betray you. She simply made a mistake that cost her her freedom. I took control and there is nothing you can do about it. And I.... I betray you. That's a fact.- explained Peacebreaker with a smile.

- I heard you roar. Is something wrong?- asked Harumi.

Peacebreaker looked at her with squinted eyes, wondering whether to tell her the truth or not.

- No. Just, I hit my finger on the table. And it hurt.

- Ah. Okay.

- And the Crystal King? Do we have something to do?

- Actually, yes. Let's go to the hall. I'm calling a council meeting.

- Of course. See you there, blondie!

Both girls waved with mockingly smiles at Lloyd and left the warehouse.
