Kai and Cole quickly drove up to pick up Madeline, who was waiting for them outside the hospital with a pink bag and discharge paper in her hand.
Cole drove up to her and opened the window. He smiled roguishly at her and said with a grin.
- Hey, are you my new friend, who called for her hero? - he teased.
Madeline giggled and rolled her eyes.
- But of course, my friend. I can come in?
- Sure! Jump in!
Madeline put her bag on the floor in vehicle and jumped into the car. Cole closed the windshield and sped off at high speed to the base with Kai on his tail.
- You know... at our base... em... some of the sights may shock you. But rest assured, you'll feel safe. - assured Kai through the communicator.
- I understand. And so you have already done a lot for me by helping me. Even if I and ... my team put you in jail.
- Eeee there! It was and has passed. Now you are our friend. But seriously... don't be frightened by what you see, okay? - said Cole with a concerned glance at her.
- Relax, I won't freak out. - she laughed melodiously.
Kai and Cole fell silent, looking ahead. They could not predict, how she would react, when she came face to face with (Y/N). They left out Garmadon and Draco.
After an hour, they arrived at Samurai X's base and parked the machines in special spots. Cole jumped out of the vehicle first and looked uncertainly at Madeline, who nimbly jumped out.
- Can I leave my bag here? I don't quite know, where to leave it.
- Relax, leave it here. Come... this way. - He replied uncertainly, sharing a glance with Kai.
The ninja and the knights were talking to each other, standing around a strange device, that held a magic ball of light. Lloyd stood off to the side and looked at the ball, as if enchanted, clasping his hands nervously.
- Hey, Cole, Kai! - called out Jay, when he saw them.
They all looked at the newcomers and sent Madeline a friendly smile. Lloyd raised his eyes and also sent them a crooked, nervous smile.
- You are Madeline, right? I'm Macy. - Macy greeted, walking up to her.
- Yes, I am. Nice to meet you!
- Reciprocally. I'm Jay! - He waved at her.
- I know who you are. After all... we put you in prison. But you guys... I don't associate. Who are you guys?
