Chapter 8

Your POV

"Asuna!! I'm back!!" I screamed running to the house direction.
"Y/N my lovely sister!! I missed youuuu-" she said pulling me into a hug. I haven't seen her in two weeks, I really missed her. I hugged back and without me noticing a tear escaped my eyes.
"Y/N? Are you alright?" She asked pulling away. I nooded happily and smiled at her.
Daisuke-sama soon came out of the house and saw the blue-black haired demon girl and me sitting on a bench staring at the beautiful moon.
It was a clear night, you could count the Stars.
"Y/N.. your back!" He said smiling while coming to us.
"Of couse Daisuke-sama! I promised" I said smiling and giving him a hug.
"Good to know you keep your promised!"

Hours later my craw came to us.
"Caw, caw, head east.. a demon was seen in a small village. I repead head east" It said.
I was so exited, but It was daytime how am I supposed to take Asuna with me?
"Y/N, Y/N? I heard your.. bird... are we going now?" she asked exited.
"Yes, but how am I supposed to take you with me? In the sun I mean" I asked her.
She looked at me, realizing what I just said and then dissapeared just to come back with a big box.
"I can stay in there! You just have to carry me on your back and don't worry I'll become smaller-" she told me giggling.
I smiled at her and took the box, opening It so she could get inside. But before we left a Note for Daisuke-sama who was in town the next few days.
I sight and put on my clothes.. I just came back and had a mission already!
I laught and helped Asuna climb into the box after I put some water and food into my haori (let's pretend your haori has bags inside oke?)
"Okay lead the way.. craw..?" I looked up into the sky seeing the bird above me.
I smiled and followed them to a small village.. some boys were jumping from rooftop to rooftop..
Daredevils.. Huh? I thought.
One of them noticed me and smirked before jumping off the roof and walking up to me, his three friends followed him.

I was about to walked away when someone grabbed my wrist.
I turned around and looked into brown eyes.. he had black curly hair.. his skin tone was the same as mine an clear (s/c).
"Excuse me. Can I help you boys?" I asked trying to be as politely as I can.
"Actually yes! Have you seen a little girl? She kinda looks like me.. just- female" he asked smiling a bit, he was clearly nervous.
"U- uh.. no, I'm sorry I didn't. But good luck!" I told him smiling and walked away.
That was weird. Is she his little sister? Was she missing or did he lost her?
I had gone thought so many theorys until I heard a scream. It was a childs scream.
I ran toward the scream and saw a demon holding a little girl, behind them were four dead kids.. three girl and two boys.
Damnit! I'm late.. I thought while preparing to fight.
The demon was blue- he looked like he had a lot of mirrors looking out of him. Mirrors? What are they supposed to do?

"Well well? What do we have here? A little girl- oh? A demon slayer! Pah!" he laughted out loud and looked behind me.
"And you four are..? Shouldn't It be the other way? The boys protecting the girl instead of the girl protecting the boys" he smirked. I looked around and saw the four boys who I called 'daredevils' before standing behind me.
"Run from here! I'll save the girl and find you!" I yelled over to them.
But I was letting my guard down and the demon tickled me down. The girl still in his other hand. I groanted and pushed him off.
"Ahh~ Aren't you feisty one, huh?" he looked insane. Well? What did I expect?
But I felt he was a weak demon, that doesn't mean he hasn't devoured many humans, but by the looks of it he's only eaten kids.
"You seem pretty weak, you know~?" I tried provokating him. It's always the best to make the opponent mad, they will attack without thoughts or strategy. That's why most of them are more easily to beat.
"Hah?! You dare to tell me I'm weak?!?" He screamed at me completely forgetting about the little girl, so she was able to get away from him and ran over to the boys. She was probably the little girl the one boy was looking for.
As soon as the demon noticed that he got angrier. He knew what I was trying to do but still let his anger control him. So he attacked without thinking and I easily blocked it, which made him a lot more angry.
He missed me and aimed towards the little girl who was now in her brothers arms.
As soon as I noticed this I went for the final attack.
"Multibreath, Fourth form: killing Illusion!!" I used my Illusion attack to confused the demon, with sucess. Within seconds his head was cut off. I quickly ran over to the boys.
"Are you alright?? Anyone hurt?" I asked them. The boy who talked to me earlier snapped out of his trance.
"I- yes! Thank you so much.. but.. what was- that?" He asked clearly confused. Of course most of people don't belive, or never heard of demons.
"That was a demon. But it's a little bit complicated to explain, important is that everyones alright. Please go home and rest, I advise you to bandage your sister as soon as possible" I told them and rushed off.

In a little forest I let Asuna out.
"Aww! I wanted to help!" She whined..
I had to laught..

Asuna POV

Y/N just told me what happened.. I can't belive I was able to sleep while she fight like that.
"Aww! I wanted to help!" I whined.. I really wanted to! I could have atleast healed that little girl! I heard her laughting.
"Not funny!!" I screamed a bit quieter then usual.
"I'm sorry.. I'll wake you next time, promise!" She smiled at me and I smiled back. She was such a sweatheart. Like, the little sister I never had.

Soo~ I'm not the best in writing fighting scenes but I'm doing all I can!^^
