Chapter 14

You POV

Training was as exhausting as always.
But I was happy, because I'm going to visit Giyu afterwards! I'm still hurt.. he just left.
But I'm pretty sure he had an explanation, and what about Sabito?? Where is he? What happened to them? They said they'll come back.

All these questions have been budging me the past years, and I'll finally get my answers. But then I remembered, I didn't know where Giyu's estate was! I'll need to ask someone.

Before I knew it I found myself in front of Shinobu's office. I knocked twice and waited for the okay to enter. As soon as I got it I went inside. She smiled at me.

"I'm sorry to bother.. but could you tell me where to find the estate of Giyu Tomioka?"
I asked shyly, I knew Giyu didn't have the best realationship with the other hashiras, but who else am I supposed to ask??

"I can do that, but if you don't mind me asking the reason of it?" She asked, and even thought she was smiling. Behind her ressuring smile were hidden a lot of bottked up emotion, you could feel it only in her strong presence.

"I would like to talk to him.. that's all" I answered her honest. I just left our the information about what. Shinobu nodded.
"I'll get you there, I have nothing to do anyways" the fragile woman in front of me said.

"Thank you!" I replied her, and followed out of the room. I was surprised to see how beautiful this whole build being actually was. There were so much trees in diffrent color and every kind of flower, as well as some herbs. I knew which one could do what, because my Mother thought me a lot during my childhood. She was years doctor and loved to work with herbs, trying to keep the medicin as natural as possible.

We encountered a few other hashiras ok the way, which waved us. More like they waved Shinobu and she waved back, while I followed her like a silent grey mouse.

"There we are, the water estate" she said, pointing to the white, pale house in front of us. There was a small balcony above the door, which was had a silvery-wooden color. Around the house were lot's of wisteria trees, in perfect distance.

It was really peacefull. I noticed at the right of the house was a small, pond. There were some water lillis around the pond with some frogs sitting on whose leaves.
I inhaled the fresh air, feeling happy.

"Thanks again" I thanked Shinobu turning to her, giving her my best warm hearted smile.
"It was not a problem" she told me before she left, going back the way she showed me here.

I walked to the door to knock, but I heard a miau from behind. So I turned around and saw a cat sitting there. She was black, beautiful, with brown dark eyes.

I bend down to pick her up and brushed trough its fur, as the door opened revealing Giyu in his uniform. But unlike before without sword and haori. I nervously laught and smiled.

"I see.. you met Jill" he said, looking at the cat. What a beautiful name. Is she his pet?
"She's yours??" I asked while following him as he gestured me to get inside. He nodded.
"Found her on a mission as a kitten" he explained and sat down at the couch.

I sat beside him, still petting Jill in my arms.
I heard him chuckle from the side and looked over. It was nice seeing him again.
I missed this.. being with Giyu, his laugh and the times we spend together.

Before I knew it I started crying silent, and Jill, the confused and not water friendly cat she was, sprang out of my arms. Soon I felt arms wrap around me gently and lifting me.

I found myself in Giyu's lap, crying while hugging him tightly. He stroke my hair and we sat there in silence. When I finally calmed down I snuggled into his chest, never wanting to let him go again.

"You okay now??" He asked me, worry in his voice, even if only hidden worry.
"Y- yeah.. sorry.." I said closing my eyes.
I was tired, and comfortable in Giyu's arms.
"Don't worry about it" the ravenette whispered in my ear, before I fell asleep in his arms. Silent and peacefull.
