I literally did not know that Eris would be the new friend of the gang. I dunno why it was a shock but yeah.

Sometimes I just cannot stand that guy. And like he just went away the moment he saw me - he had to complete the assignment. But really if I had a chance to get to know him I guess I would -

"Hey Nox, could you help me with this assignment? I stayed up all night and still couldn't get it." Eris asked me, nervously.

" Why should I help?" I asked him.

" I'll buy you coffee for a week, deal?" He said, trying to convince me.

He makes a fine argument though.
Alright.

I went in the living room and saw him sitting there.

" Hey you actually came!" He replied, overjoyed.

" Yes. Now, what's the problem?"

" Oh it's this,-

And then we spent like an hour solving this assignment. Turns out that he's really stupid.

" Thanks Nox, this was a big help! Also, like when I first came in, why did you just talk to me from your bedroom?"

Oh that. I don't trust him yet so I won't tell him now. It was a big shock to me that day. I mean you guys won't believe it, I am 100% sure of it. See, it all started with a small fever so I ignored it. (And I am also pretty sure that Eris is just staring at me while I explain this to you guys.) The fever after two days just got worse and this was the day when Eris was coming or my roommate because I didn't know who it was then.

" Hey, come on why are you zoned out?!"

" Yeah, uh bye. I helped you with that assignment and now my task is complete."

I was sitting in my room, when Eris came in.

" Nox, here's your coffee! I'll just keep it on your table!"

" Yeah, thanks for the coffee."
Now, where was I? I said to myself, Sipping coffee aggressively.

Yeah, the fever concept. I still don't know how it happened but because of the fever my voice was fine and all so I guess I didn't seem weird to him,but the colour of my eyes changed. And as a firm believer in science, this was a little difficult to digest.
I know that according to various articles, changing your eye colour is not possible.
Now you all must really be thinking that I am saying nonsense. But that's not true. I still don't know what purpose do my really vivid and onyx like eyes have but I will find it out. I think I would have to test them without lenses and that's risky.
Wait! I could try it on Eris! I mean, he's stupid so no one is going to believe him even if he spills .

On second thought,
This is waaay too childish.
I think I should clear my mind by taking a walk.

While I was walking I noticed someone in the rain.
Wait, is that Eris? What's he doing there? Like it's raining so much and he's just standing there? Anyways, not my problem.

( Unknown number is calling)
"Hello? Who is this?" I asked cautiously.

" Hey Nox, it's me. Can you um come down in the campus for a sec? There's a cow. " An oddly cheerful Eris replied from the other side.

" A what now?" I asked him, completely confused.

" A cow. Could you come?"

" Fine , I am in the campus anyways." I gave up trying to make head or tail of the current situation.

" Save my number! Bye!"

" Bye."
