Of Sun and Nightmares [Part1]

We're going on a trip in a week!

Yess!
He actually said good night to me!!
He's warming up!
Anyways, what do I do with the project??  Let me just write something believable because I do not know shit about him.

•  He doesn't talk much but give it enough time and he'll open up.

• He can cook amazingly well.

• He follows a set routine everyday and hates it when it gets disturbed. His top priority will be then to get back on track.

• He is very organised and clean.

• He always seems a bit grumpy and he's an expert at whatever he does.

• Cats flock to him like he's some sort of a cat magnet.

• He has excellent memory and remembers every little detail.

• He absolutely loves bitter things like dark chocolate, tiramisu and stuff.

• He forgets to take care of himself when he's completely invested in something. I have seen him pull an all - nighter for 5 days straight on leftovers and coffee.

Great .
I guess that's all I know about him.
It's very superficial though. I wanna get to know him more.
I mean, I could ask Ray and Chris but that's just not fun.
I'll just submit this to the teacher tommorow.

Oh wait, it's from Chris!
I'll just call him.

"Um hey? I just sent you the trip invite Eris." Chris spoke.

" Wait, the what? When was this mentioned?? " I asked him , confused.

" Teacher did tell us Eris. Maybe you forgot. Anyways, its in a week. I have texted Nox too. " Chris said.

"Oh  and that reminds me, how's stuff between you and Nox? Any progress on getting to know him?" Chris added.

" Its going fine. " I repiled sadly.

" I can hear you man, it's not going fine is it? Don't worry. Me and Ray have a plan. Good night! Expect a surprise in the trip!" Chris happily hung up.

Oh my goodness.
This is so exciting.
I am going on a trip.
Niice.
Maybe I'll get to learn more about Nox.
That stingy old man lmao.
And also, what surprise?
I am excited about that too.

Did I wake up?
Is it morning yet?
Shit.
I just checked my phone and its 3 a.m. in the morning.
I think Nox might be awake. But going to disturb him there would be a bad idea.
But who said that I didn't like taking risks?
I am that person who gets the strangest ideas in the night.
Who am I kidding?
Let's just go to sleep.

Ughhhhhh.
It's 6 am now. Time to wake up.

After a long time of just sitting in the bed, I finally got up, brushed my teeth, bathed and got ready.

Time to go see Nox in his room.

" Hey Nox, did you get the message from Chris? It's about the class trip.
We're going in the mountains!! And also yeah, good morning." I said to him, while he was already sitting on his desk, working.

" Yeah I got it. It says that you could  choose partners to share your room with. " He replied.

" Whoa, no way! That's great! I'll pick you then! " I said to him, sitting on his bed.

" Fine. No problem. " He agreed without even bothering to look at me.

Oh gosh, he agreed!!!
I hope he'll agree to this too.

" Hey Nox , one more thing, do you wanna watch anime with me? More precisely MDZS, I recently discovered it and it's amazing!! Just one episode okay?? If you don't like it, then we'll stop." I explained in a hurry, fearing that he'd cut me off.

" Fine. Only one episode and if I like it, we'll continue. Now go out!" Nox said and continued writing.

" Yeah!! Bye Nox! " I waved at him with a smile and went out to the kitchen to get some breakfast.

" By the way, I am making some eggs. I'll put them on the counter for you. Don't forget eat! " I added from the kitchen and he just hummed in response.

Alright, let's do four sunny side up eggs, two for me and two for him.

This is not so easy. My first one which I tried to flip was pretty unsuccessful.
I'll just keep that one for me.

Oh, the others turned out fine. I'll keep two on the kitchen counter and then eat mine.

" On a second thought, Nox do you wanna watch the anime while we're having breakfast? That way I'll make sure you don't skip your meals. " I said as I brought the omlettes to his room.

" Fine. It doesn't sound bad. Let's eat." He said as he started eating his omlettes and lent me his laptop.

" Alright, how are the omlettes? Well cooked?" I asked him as I turned on MDZS on his open laptop.

" They are well cooked. Thanks." He said with some gratitude.

The anime turned on to Wei Wuxian being resurrected and then running into a demonic arm.

" Oh this is about demons huh? I am glad that this is action or if was some sort of shitty romance, I would've shut it in your face. So far it's good. I like it. " Nox said with great interest.

" Well, that's the most sentences you've ever spoken to me, so I can assume that you're gonna absolutely love this series. " I replied to him happily.

Great, atleast now I know that anime works magic.
Haha.

We progressed much further than one episode, surprisingly.
It has been a good 3 to 4 hours since we've been watching it and Nox is absolutely concentrating on the plot.

" Well, for once I am actually pretty invested in an anime. That Lan Wangji is pretty good. I would absolutely love that clan if it was real. " Nox said, reclining on his bed to sit more comfortably.

Okay we are so close together right now, I almost forgot that I was sitting on his bed.
His cushion that I am holding smells so good.
Just like dark chocolate.
And this is the first time I've seen him up so close.
He really looks good.
Plus he likes anime, he's intelligent and he can cook. I've seen him do it in the night.
I can't cook but these omlettes turned out just fine.

" Hey, what are you looking at me for? You aren't even looking at how Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian are fighting!" Nox waved his hand in my face.

" Oh, yeah nothing! There was um, a spider on that wall so-" I was interrupted by him.

" Shush, let me watch. " Nox said while again concentrating on the anime.

He really likes it huh. Nice.
Wait, I zoned out for a bit and we're on episode 8 already!

But wait, why's Nox passed out like that?
He's completely knocked out!
