School was decent to be honest. I don't have any other classes with Julian but Spanish and at lunch I sat by Addison and Skylar that's all.

"Have any of you guys talked to Bobbi since yesterday?" Mom asked stuffing some mash potatoes in her mouth.

"No" me,Jaden and dad say. "Why not? You always check in with your family" she looks around the table waiting for one of us to speak up.

"Well she just left yesterday mom I'm pretty sure she didn't have a life changing moment already" I say "and she's fine because she literally text me when a emergency happens even when little things happen."

Mom nods "true. But I want you three to call her and catch up on her sometime this week." "Yes ma'am" I cut into the steak.

"Jesus Sophia she is fine she's probably at a party drinking her ass off right now stop being so uptight." The whole dining room went silent.

Mom smiles looking at me "so when tryouts start?" "Next week." "Good are you trying out this year?" I nods playing with my food.

"Um I'm done" mom stands up "there's still some food on your plate mom" Jaden says raising his eyebrows at mom.

"You always say never waste food that people offers you because there's not always going to be someone who's offering to cook you food."

"That's right Jaden. But that's not the case I cooked the food so I can waste it" she leaves the dining room into the kitchen dumping the food in the garbage.

"Nonsense" dad whispers under his breath. "Alexis your doing anything Saturday  night?" I shake my head "nothing I can think of why?"

"I want to take you and Jaden to the game" Jaden claps his hands "I always wanted to go to one of those" mom goes up stairs.

"Will mom be going?" I ask he shakes his head "just us 3 if you want Matthew can come along." What is he getting out of this.

Not inviting mom we are a family. Families suppose to spend time with each other and not dividing a member out.

I don't say anything else until we are finish eating. "I clean the dishes" I get up gathering the plates "I'll help. I'm just going to tuck Jaden in."

I go into the kitchen placing the dishes in the sink. I turn on the water "hey baby" I look up at dad "hi" I don't look at him.

He stands on the side of me I begin to wash the dishes. "Me and your mom are having problems" he finally says.

"I can tell" I pass him the plate "I can see how your mood change when I said your mother wasn't coming."

"I don't like this. You and mom have been in several arguments this past year and every one gets worse and worser."

"I'm sorry baby it's just I've been stressed and your mother been stressed" I nods. "I have a question" I say.

"Are you and mom breaking up?" I look at him biting my lip so I won't cry. "Oh no baby we're not is that what you think?"

I nods "no we are going to be fine soon" "good cause I don't know how life will be if you guys ever break up." He hugs me.
