so i did some searching and found that the main symptoms of hanahaki disease/the main problems the victim suffers from is strong pains which i would assume would be in the chest area, and throwing up flowers, and like it says in the story desc. it can only go away when the romantic(and only romantic) feelings are reciprocated, or if the flowers are removed surgically but if that happens then the victims feelings for the beloved disappear, and sometimes their memories of the beloved as well. it develops over time from spitting up petals to throwing up whole flowers.
