Another day, another server-wide meeting that took place in House Blossom, except this one was getting pretty tense. The subject had landed on Xornoth and what the empires were doing to prevent his torture, but Joey wasn't having any of that.
"Xornoth is a threat, Joey," Katherine said sternly to the jaguar-centaur(that's a headcannon from a friend). "Xornoth is not a threat!" he argued, "He's a lovely man who's curious about our world," "Joey, I don't even think he's a man," Jimmy, the Codfather, spoke. "No one asked you, fish boy," Joey growled. "And besides, Xorny already doesn't like you. If it were up to me, I'd have him kill you!" If Jimmy hadn't been wearing his Cod head, the others would have seen how terrified he was in that moment. "Joey, that is enough!" that was the first time Katherine had raised her voice, and it seemed her anger stemmed to the plants around her. "We do not threaten people here at House Blossom, now sit down." she ordered. The blonde sat down as he glared at Jimmy, she sat down as well. "You know, I think now is a good time to end this meeting and leave," the elven king spoke for the first time since the beginning of the meeting. "Scott, sit down please, we're not done." "Apologies, Katherine, but I don't wish to stay here with emperors threatening each other and talking about my brother the way some do." he sent a glare at Joey. Katherine sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose. "Okay, okay, let's just end the meeting and pick back up tomorrow, yeah?" the other rules nodded, collectively standing and gathering any belongings they'd brought. Jimmy followed Lizzie out the door, carefully avoiding Joey, he watched as Scott flew of into the sky, he sighed, Scott always looked so graceful. "Jimmy!" Lizzie shook his shoulder. "Huh? What?" "Jimmy, we've gotta hurry home, it's getting dark." "You go ahead, I gotta check my elytra." "Fine." Lizzie hurried off with Joel while Jimmy unpacked his wings. "Jimmy, wait!" Katherine called after him. "Yeah, what's up?" "I'm sorry about Joey, I don't know what's gotten into him-" "I know what it is," the blonde muttered. "Well, despite that, I apologize, and I'll make sure it never happens again." "Thanks, Katherine," "Well, get home safely, House Blossom is with you," she quickly hugged Jimmy and entered her home. Jimmy flew off.
It wasn't long before he stepped onto his porch. Unlike the other rulers, Jimmy didn't have a castle, he wasn't a builder like everyone else and he refused to let his people waste their time making one for him, so he just lived in a cabin, and that was enough for him. Except, when he walked in, he was met with a terrible surprise: Xornoth, the demon, was stood in the middle of his house. "So, you are the fish that dare insult me, hm? Pathetic." Jimmy didn't have a chance to respond, fiery pain shot through the whole left side of his body, he collapsed as he clutched his torso, staring at the ground. "Perhaps this will teach you a lesson," then, everything went black.

"Jimmy? Jimmy, please wake up!" he heard a voice, it was faint, but familiar. "Jimmy, please!" he forced his eyes open, he saw shimmering blue scales and pastel pink hair: it was Lizzie, his sister. "L-Lizzie..?" he whispered, trying to look around. "Joel, he's awake!" "Oh, thanks Gods." "Watch him, please, I'm gonna get some food." Lizzie left the cabin, leaving Joel and Jimmy alone. "Hey, bud, you alright?" "I-I think so?" he sat up slowly, looking down at his body, a big, swolen scar took up most of his left side. "So, what happened? How'd that get there?" "The.. the demon, he was here," "The demon? Come on, Jim, it's not real," "But it is!" even if Joel had never seen it before didn't mean it wasn't real. "I saw it, it stabbed me!" "okay, okay, if you think it's real, I'll believe you." "At that moment, Lizzie arrive with some water. "I know it's not much, but hurry and get dressed, we need to see Gem." "Gem? Why?" "Have you seen your scar?! It's covered with corruption!" "Oh.. so that's what all the red is.." "Yes, now hurry!" the couple left Jimmy to dress himself. Jimmy was scared, what did the demon do to him? Was he going to die? Did Joey have something to do with this? With all those thoughts in the back of his mind, he got ready to go see Gem.
