CHAPTER 17

<<<<<<<ADRIAN'S POV>>>>>>>>

I saw the hidden door to the underground fortress. It was hidden from above by an over hang of leaves. I had at least 7 men holding me back from barging in there and rescuing my mate.

"Son. Relax. It won't do you any good to barge in there weapon less. You will only end up getting hurt. How will you save your mate then?" Said my father. My wolf and I calmed down to a level that was easy to handle.

That was before I saw her.

Out of the bushes walked Victoria and a group of about 10 men. Even in the dense forest, she was wearing heels, and a three-sizes-too-small dress; if you could call it. The back was missing and there was mesh were the stomach was supposed to be. The sight of her had me angry all over again. This time, 9 men were holding me back; and they were having a difficult time too.

Victoria waltzed up to the hidden door and knocked on it. 5 seconds later a guy opened it up, with two guns pointed at Victorias' head.

*SHOOT HER. SHOOT HER. SHOOT HER IN THE FACE." Chanted my wolf. I couldn't agree with him more.

But all Victoria did was roll her eyes, scoff and push the guns away from her forehead.

"I'm here to see Sam and the bitch, Alexandria." Right now, the men had gagged me and they were literally sitting on top of me; restraining me from going over there and tearing out Victorias' throat.

The man lowered and motioned with his head to follow him. She rolled her eyes again and pushed him out of the way, walking down into the darkness.

After all of her men were gone, they let me go.

"You know the plan son?" My father asked. I nodded as I sat up and ripped of the gag. I pulled out my AK47 and put my knives in an easy place to reach.

I was ready.

<<<<<<<ALEXANDRIA'S POV>>>>>>>>

I woke up from being passed out because of how strong the tingling was. I could feel Adrian. He was close. Almost as if he was right outside the fortress door.

*That's because he is.* Stated my wolf, smugly. She was happy because her big, strong, Alpha mate had come to save us. I rolled my eyes, earning a slap from the person in front of me. I was so preoccupied, that I hadn't noticed. My wolf growled at the woman, if you could call her that, who was standing in front of me with her hands on her hips and a smug smile that graced her lips.

"Hello Alexandria, long time no see?" Victoria stated smugly. I growled, earning me another slap.

She rolled her eyes and glared at me.

"You stole my mate, Alex. And for that, I am PERSONALLY, going to end your life. But first I'm going to cut out the children that are in your stomach, while your still alive,and I'm going to burn them in front of your eyes." I looked at her in horror. What has happened to her, that she has such a twisted mind?

"Yes Alex. I'm going to do this all because you couldn't stay away from MY MATE." She yelled and slapped me again. The right side of my face was now completely numb.
