I hadn't left Adrians side or slept in over 2 days. My brother and Melissa had to practically drag me out to get me to eat or go to the bathroom.
And, in that time, Adrian still hasnt woken up.
My wolf whimpered, but otherwise said nothing. She hasnt said a word to me in over 2 days. She only paced and frantically whimpered in my head when ever his fever went up or his breathing would become harsh and sharp.
It seemed as though Adrian would never wake up. His condition never got better or never became worse.
It stayed the exact same these entire 2 days.
Adrian, please wake up.

I swam in the darkness. The light not even getting a chance to breath from the darkness that chocked it.
Killed it.
I was never moving, never drowning, never seeing, or feeling or breathing.
The darkness stole what little air I was able to breath. Suffocating me. Yet, I never died.
The thick shadows crawled across my skin, bitting and clawing at my exposed flesh.
Voices, rang in my ears. Some screaming, some whispering. I couldn't understant them because of the variety of strange, forgotten languages they spoke in. But they all seemed to be saying the same thing;
"Turn back."
"Leave."
"Run."
They repeated the same phrases over and over again as they expressed the need that I leave this cursed place.
But how?!

I could feel my body preparing for me to give birth, but I begged my wolf to try and prolong it.
I didnt want my children to be brought into the world if thier father wasn't there to witness it. I needed him there to cut the umbilical cord, I needed him there to witness and hear thier first cries. I need him to asign thier names and take pictures.
I need his strength.
But, how do I wake him up?

As I was sitting in the chair next to Adrians bed, a knock came to the door. Startling me out of my pain.
"Come in." I whispered, not worrying about if they would be able to hear me or not. The benefits of being a werewolf.
But, the people who came through the door surprised me. I had thought it was Melissa or Andrew, begging me again for me to eat or take a shower.
But, no.
