Chapter 25

<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<Ambrosines’ POV>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

“To make this spell work, all intentions to the person must be pure. Not one shred of evil intent. For, if they aren’t, he will be consumed by that evil and be turned into a monster. One that is completely unrecognizable from the original person and that won’t hesitate to rip your heart from your chest; regardless of your current relationship with him. Friend, father, child, or wife, he will kill you.” Warned Olivia.

My uncles’ eyes had widened slightly and his heartbeat quickened. But, other than that, he didn’t show anything but determination; determination to save his daughters’ soul mate.

Soon, the council began to chant in unison as they surrounded his lifeless figure.

“He left this world too young,

he left his love behind,

his destiny unfulfilled,

his fate left unbound.

Bring Adrian back to finish,

what he almost started,

bring him back to his body,

with his pure soul that to soon departed.”

After chanting about 3 times, his skin began to glow brightly.

Then, all of a sudden, my ears popped from the building pressure in the small room.

Suddenly, the whole council, my uncle, and I were blasted across the room. The light became blinding and the sound nearly busted my eardrums.

The sound was of a million nails on a million chalkboards, of bones crunching underfoot, of a thousand tortured screams.

I covered my sensitive ears, trying anything to lessen the pain. I could only imagine the pain that my uncle was in. I was only half-werewolf while he was a pure breed; not to mention a powerful Alpha.

After what seemed like hours, and was probably only minutes, everything stopped. Te light dimmed slowly and the sound became muted.

I groggily got up, grabbing my forehead in pain. I pulled my hand away, feeling sticky blood ooze through my fingers from the toothpick-sized gash on my forehead. My head throbbed painfully as I pressed a random towel to my head. Black spot danced across my vision as the pain worsened. I quickly used a healing spell, nearly passing out from the lack of energy I now possessed.

After the pain lessened, I looked over at my uncle. His eyes were squeezed shut in pain and blood was dripping out of his ears, courtesy of his busted eardrums. After a few minutes, they would heal. Again, courtesy of his full werewolf blood.
