Billyroar, Bugcatcher, Ashpaw, and Mistystar are all based off of real cats, their real names being Billy, Bugheera, Ashes, and Misty Mountain. Ashes did die at a young age. I made Bugcatcher older than Billypaw for story purposes, in real life they are the same age. Billy lives with her mom Misty as outside cats. They get along but fight on occasion.
Billy had a sibling named Cinder, and Cinder IRL died to coyotes.
Both Billyroar and IRL Billy had a father named Rufas.
Rufas joined their original clan as Mistymountain's lover, giving up his life as a loner. When the second litter of Billyroar and Ashkit came to be, Rufas left, taking Cinderpaw with him.
Cinderpaw dropped her prefix and lived in a barn with her father.
Riverdapple was originally a kittypet, she Joined Riverclan and had kits, who are Hushedwhisper and Fallenrapid. She died young, trying to save Ashkit and Billyroar in the midst of the coyote attack. Ashkit died and Billyroar got permanently injured, so her success was limited.
Mistclan is in fact the remnants of Windclan and Riverclan, they had to band together to survive.
The older thunderclan warrior that reminded Billypaw of Rustpaw is in fact Rustpaw's father.
Rustpaw's warrior name is Rustblade.
Rockyheart is Rustpaw's mother.
Roaringpaw had a brother, but he was a stillborn.
Rustpaw mellows out as a warrior, but is still judgemental and harsh at some points. Mistystar never gives him an apprentice.
Because Mistclan was so low on warriors, some parts of the warrior code wasn't followed due to necessity. Apprentices could go out into the forest on their own, and usually only one border patrol was scheduled per day.
