Sunghoon walked toward his apartment door with his head lowered. He sighed sadly and pressed his passcode before entering his house. Just as he was about to close the door, a random foot stopped it. Areum groaned in pain before holding her baby bump for support.

He instantly opened the door and worriedly helped her, "Yah! You could've gotten hurt!"

"I need to tell you something."

"What?" He said before standing aside to let her in. She entered his house, "I heard what happened. You can't just give up. Fight for her."

"It's over. What are you doing here anyway?"

"Actually, I came to give you a message. Daeun injured her ankle and she's at the hospital now."

"What?!" He held both of her shoulders, "How can she hurt her ankle? What happened?"

"She came to the park with me and then she fell when a cyclist almost bumped into her."

He grabbed his coat and hurried out of the penthouse. Areum's frown soon turned into a mischievous smile. She cupped her mouth to suppress her smile before following behind him.

Sunghoon ran around the hospital lobby as he searched for Daeun. Areum gasped tiredly as she tried to chase after him. She saw Jake appearing behind the registration counter and sneaked towards Sunghoon. The said doctor was still clueless, looking around to search for his lover.

Areum and Jake nodded before proceeding to what they planned. Jake grabbed Sunghoon from behind and blindfolded him. "What the hell?" Sunghoon panicked and tried to free himself from Jake's grip.

Heeseung then appeared and they both led Sunghoon to the lift. Areum followed after and pressed the button that led them to the rooftop. When they arrived, Jake untied the blindfold and smirked at him, "Surprise."

"What?" Sunghoon was about to throw hands before being pushed out by Heeseung. He looked around and saw all the things he decorated to propose to Daeun. What took him by surprise was how Daeun was standing next to the painting of them together during their first meeting.

A painting of them staring into each other's eyes. She was in a hospital gown and he was in his white doctor's coat. She finally looked at him and her expression was blank. He started to feel scared and gulped down his saliva.

She approached him before taking his hand, caressing it. He looked at her with a confused expression and widened his eyes when she kneeled on one knee.

"I'm so sorry for yelling at you and forcing you to marry me. I didn't know you were planning all of this to surprise me. You did everything to impress me and I just blew it off."

"I love you so much, Sunghoon. And I can't imagine my life without you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I want to have a family with you. You are the best person I've ever known. You make my days sunny and you chased away all the grey clouds. You helped me overcome my fears and trauma."

"I'm very lucky to have a man who cares about me. Who loves me dearly for who I am and not for my status or wealth. I want to be the person who can help you overcome your fears and be there for you when you need me."

"So I'm kneeling on one knee right now, to ask you, will you marry me?" She sobbed and lowered her head to hide her tears.

He was still speechless that she was the one proposing instead. "There's a reason why women don't do this!" She yelled and he instantly kneeled in front of her.

He wiped her tears and caressed her cheek. He took out the diamond ring that he bought before putting it on her finger. She looked at it and admired how beautiful it looked.

He leaned in for a kiss and pulled her into his embrace. "Don't cry. I promise to make you the happiest person in the world after this. I promise to be the best husband. I promise to take care of you and our kids in the future."

"It's official. He's engaged," Edlyn wiped the tears that formed in her eyes. Jake hugged her from behind as he kept his eyes fixed on the computer screen, watching Sunghoon and Daeun from the surveillance camera.

"She's so admirable. I mean, proposing to a man on one knee?" Daera sighed as she watched Daeun with dreamy eyes. "I did that," Jiah giggled as she had her arm wrapped around Heeseung's neck as he held her.

"I know. Good job, Jiah," Heeseung smiled happily. "We've got to stop watching people through surveillance cameras," Areum sighed and they all backed away from the computer screen. The worker that stood next to the desk awkwardly went back to sit in front of the computer and watched as all of them left the surveillance room.
