I remember the very first time Carter asked me out, it was the end of 7th grade and I said no.

Yeah I said no. Haha

I had just broken up with Brooklyn Adams the cutest boy at Woodlyn Heights middle school.

He didn't even go to my school.

I was heartbroken, and guess who was there to pick up the pieces ever though I had said no when he asked me out.

Carter.

He asked me out a couple time during the summer but I just wasn't ready and than at the end of summer he got a girlfriend and her name was Blaire Woodson and she went to out middle school.

Well until they broke up the first week of school because Carter didn't like her anymore.

She was crushed.

And yet, Carter was still my best friend.

In the middle of 8th grade he asked me out again but I liked Josh Fisher and than I dated Josh Fisher for 3 months and than I broke up with him because he had 3 girlfriends, what I know.

Than Carter started dating Anna Grace and they dated for a month and than Carter got bored of her so he dumped her.

Meanwhile I had started dating Landon Montgomery and we dated until the middle of freshman year when I hooked up with a guy at Riley Carson's birthday party.

Yeah I messed up but Landon was boring and anyway him and Anna started dating so it was all good.

Than Carter dated Sydney Hylands and they dated until the end of Freshman year. So 5 months.

Let's just say Carter got bored easily and he didn't stick to the same girl for too long before he just dumped them.

I was different.

Carter's POV

I dated so many girls before Anchor.

It was crazy and there's no excuse to be honest I just got bored of them after awhile because I kept dating the same girl over and over again.

I dated like 14 girls before I started dating Anchor.

Yes I was a player. But I think I was a 'player' because I couldn't find that girl who just made me want to stick around. Until I met Anchor.

My life was falling apart when I met Anchor and she made everything better.
When Anchor stayed with me through everything I was dealing with I knew that I would always de there for her and she was the girl that was worth me sticking around for the rest of my life.

I remember September 1 when I asked Anchor out for probably the 12th time in my life (one of us was always dating when the other was single and things just didn't happen at a good time I guess) it was so worth the wait. Everything that I had been nervous about before was pushed to the side because all I could think about was how much I wanted to be with Anchor for the rest of my life.

It was totally worth the wait, and Anchor, was worth the wait as well.
