That Moment You Know

That moment I knew that Carter was the one, was the moment he first said 'I love you'. Everything changed after that it made me realize that yeah I loved him too.

I loved him than, I love him now, and I'll probably love him for the rest of my life.

I think our relationship now is built off of the things that have happened recently and the fact that we both really want this to work out this time.

We've always been there for each other and have always known what the right things to say to each other were.

We just know what it's like to go through something so incredibly worth the fight.

I put on a pair of Lulu Lemon leggings, a PINK varsity t-shirt and some Nike Free Run 5.0 white tennis shoes.

I put my hair up into a messy bun, put eyeliner and mascara on, along with some foundation and concealer.

I grab my school bag, and iPhone 6 along with my portable charger because my phone is always dead. Some headphones, and than I go to the kitchen and make myself and Carter a pineapple- strawberry smoothie and grab a 2 power bars.

I put on a North Face windbreaker and lock the door.

"Hey babe." He says smiling.

"Hey. Here's a smoothie for ya." I say handing it to him.

"Yum thanks."

"Of course."

"Did you finish the AP Econ homework.?"

"No I skipped like 3 problems because I had no clue."

"Yeah same."

"Let's ask Mrs. Handler."

"Okay sounds good babe." I say smiling and turning up Chase Rice.

When we get to school we get out the car and walk through the hallways.

We are now, again. The most popular couple that walks the halls of our school.

And it kills Shayne.

We go to my locker and when I open it and set my smoothie down I find a note inside.

What did this mean?

"What is it Anchor?"

I hand him the note.

"What the hell? It was Shayne wasn't it?"

"I don't know, but wha secrets? I'm pretty much an open book." I say.

"Yeah I know," he says looking around "hey can I keep this?"

"Yeah sure."

"Okay I love you and I'll see you next period I'm going to go talk to someone."

"Carter please just leave it alone."

"I can't. I love you." He walks away before I can say anything else.

"Love you too." I yell sarcastically.

[Carter's POV]

I walk down the hall to find Shayne.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?" I yell.

She looks down at her stabucks.

"Drinking a chai latte?" She questions.

I throw the note at her. "This." I state.

"Looks like someone else doesn't like your little slut of a girlfriend either." She smirks.

"Stay the hell away from her Shayne."

"I didn't do this Carter."

"Yeah right, just stay away from us," I yell. "I mean it."

I walk away and go to AP pre Calc.
