*Tazuna's house, 8 o'clock*
The rest of the day had gone fine, but there was silence between Naruto and Sayu, neither of them mentioned Naruto helping her with the tree climbing exercise. Currently, they were all sitting at Tazuna's table, digging into a delicious meal.
"Wow Tsunami, this is delicious!" Sakura exclaimed with a smile.
"Thank you very much Sakura!" Tsunami, Tazuna's daughter responded with a similar smile.
Naruto was quietly eating his food, until a question came up that grabbed Naruto's attention.
"So, what are we gonna do about Gato?" Sayu asked. Everyone was surprised that Sayu of all people was the one to say something about it. Kakashi nodded before he leaned back in his chair.
"Gato we can worry about after both the bridge and Zabuza are taken care of." Kakashi said in a serious tone.
"Why are you not worrying about Gato?" Tazuna said, his voice showing that he wanted an answer immediately.
"It's because he's a businessman, he'll get what's coming for him, but we got bigger fish to fry..." Kakashi began, but never got to finish. Everyone at the table jumped as someone had slammed their hand on the table. All attention went to Inari, Tsunami's son. His angered expression showed he wasn't happy in the slightest, especially towards the last comments.
"Just give up, will you? You're wasting your time!" he yelled. Naruto's eye twitched. "How about you stop trying to be hero's and grow a damn brain! Hero's don't exist, so stop acting like you can stop Gato and become one. He's unstoppable, invincible with his endless amount of money and people defending him!"
"No one is invincible." Everyone turned to the other end of the table. Naruto continued to eat his ramen, though his hair covered his eyes. Inari scoffed at the comment.
"Of course, YOU say that, because you're a shinobi, a worthless ninja. All of you live your perfect little lives and then act like you know MY pain. If you were to live in MY shoes, you wouldn't last a single day!" Inari yelled at the blonde.
"How about you explain that a little more." Naruto mumbled.
"You don't know what it's like to suffer. All of you shinobi are born into perfect families and are surrounded by loved ones. You're given whatever you want, you live the good life, while I live the tough one. My entire life has been full of pain, I never met my father, and I lost the man who felt like my father. Blondie, the most you've probably ever lost was a pet or a kunai!" Inari yelled through gritted teeth. The crack of chopsticks filled the room. Naruto was shaking, he was clenching his fists so hard that he had broken them.
"For not knowing any of us, you sure act like you do, don't ya you little brat!" Naruto hissed. Everyone had felt the tension rise tenfold after Naruto's response.
"I'm the brat, huh? Says the one who has had his mom and dad at his side since day one. Says the one who probably had all the friends possible. Says the..." Inari was interrupted by Naruto's laughter. Naruto was laughing, he was gripping his stomach, and was laughing hard. He came to an abrupt stop.
"Ya know, everything you just mentioned, isn't true. I never met my mom and dad, I'm an orphan, and chances are, I'll never meet them. I've been outcasted by every possible person in my village. Everyone hates me, I've been beaten by the villagers, and have scars to prove it, and friend wise, ha, me have any friends? Good god damn joke. I only had one friend in my entire life, and they've despised me for the past four fucking years. I can even guarantee you that there are millions of other people in this accursed world that have suffered worse than I have, but you have the audacity to measure your "pain" to another's? You are what's wrong with this world kid, so do everyone a favor, and leave it!" Naruto hissed as he rose to his feet.
