"Is there anything else I need to know?"
"Your godfather is still alive, he was your fathers sensei, Jiraiya, a third of the Sanin, also, my student." Hiruzen said with pride in the last part of the sentence. Naruto quickly walked over to the door and opened it. He was halfway out of the door when he spoke.
"Thanks for telling me all of this gramps." Naruto said before closing the door, leaving the Hokage alone in his office.
*Current Day*
Naruto walked down the street with his hands in his pockets. His mind was all over the place. Zabuza was heavily pushing his training onto him, even though he was constantly turning it down. As he walked, he sensed a group of familiar chakras.
He stopped in the middle of the street and turned to his left. He watched as Asuma and Kurenai, along with their teams were walking out of the hospital. Naruto watched with a silent gaze; he knew why they were there. It was all his fault after all. He felt little remorse for what he did.
That asshole had it coming... the blonde thought to himself as he watched Shikimaru, the bored face still glued to him as per usual. Naruto wasn't going to walk around and pretend like he didn't do what he did, but he wasn't going to act like Kiba wasn't deserving of the beatdown. Maybe he should have cut himself off after knocking him to the ground, but Kiba pushed his luck.
There was one thing that seemed to slip Naruto's mind as he watched the group. They had two Jonin level shinobi standing next to one another. Kurenai turned her head away from Asuma, feeling an intense gaze. She noticed the blonde staring at them. Her gaze turned harsh as she glared. Asuma then turned, followed the rest of the group. What shocked Kurenai was that after a moment, Naruto approached them.
Naruto approached with a cool presence, not one of showing off, but one that seemed unbothered.
"You have a lot of god damn nerve!" Ino yelled at him, pushing herself towards the front. Naruto looked at her, his eyes holding an unwavering gaze.
"It seems you recovered quite quickly, I heard you cost Sakura her match." Naruto said quietly. Ino felt her face grow hot due to the pure anger flowing through her.
"That's all you have to say?! That's all you can say to me?!" she screamed. Bystanders turned their heads as they walked. Some held their gazes to see what would happen, others left, uncaring for the matters of children.
"Do you want me to apologize to you for Kiba? Is that what you expect me to do right now?" Naruto questioned. Kurenai glared at the blonde, but he ignored it. He instead continued to focus on Ino, "You do realize, he's the one in the hospital, right? Not you. I should give him an apology, not you. And, I have no intention of giving-"
A blow to the jaw silenced the Uzumaki. Ino glared at hum. She looked down at her left hand and rubbed it, before looking back at him.
"Go to hell Naruto." she said before pushing past him. Naruto's head had been turned to the left as result of the punch. Everyone walked past the blonde. Well, almost everyone.
"He's alright in there. Lee on the other hand, they don't think he'll be a shinobi again." Shikimaru said calmly. Naruto turned to face him, his hand coming up to his jaw and rubbing it. Shikimaru sighed as he looked away. "I heard what he said you know. We all did. I get that you were upset, but when he was down-"
"He deserved every punch, every attack I sent towards him. He should be grateful that he's alright." Naruto spoke bitterly, doubling down on his actions. Shikimaru sighed while shaking his head. He placed his hands in his pockets as he walked past him.
