My whole life I had been best friends with Nancy and Steve. Growing up, since me and Nancy's brothers hung out together, it made us close too. And when she dated Steve, I always hung out with him as well. I was basically the third wheel, but I didn't mind.

But now that Steve and Nancy have parted ways, I'm pretty close with him and Robin, a girl he met during work, and she's in band. She's pretty cool, and is a lot of help when it comes to defeating Russian spies, she also gets along well with Nancy.

I woke up this morning to my phone ringing like crazy. As I dragged myself out of bed, I walked to the kitchen where I picked up the phone
and twisted my fingers around the spiral cord.

"Hello?" I said.

"Hey y/n! Robins rambling and I'm bored so can you come to family video?" That's where Steve worked with Robin after Scoops kind of closed.

"Sure thing Steve but I just woke up can you give me a few?"

"Please hurry." He said as I laughed and hung up the phone, walking back to my room to get dressed.

It was already 12:00 PM. It was a Saturday, and I had slept in pretty late. I walk to my closet and start to go through the hangers, most of them being empty from the dirty clothes on my floor.

At the back of my closet I found a Metallica t-shirt and some baggy jeans. I slipped on my converse before doing my eyeliner quickly and rushing out.

I grabbed my keys and started my car, driving to the store. As I got there, I pulled in front and walked in to see a happy Steve.

"y/n, when you said a few I didn't mean years!"

I rolled my eyes at Steve. Then, Robin came out of the corner all happy.

"Happy late Birthday y/n!!" She smiles at me energetically.

"Right, happy late birthday." Steve scoffs as I smile.

"Gee, thanks! Anyways what's up?"

"Robins having girl problems." Steve says as he starts to organize magazines sitting on the front desk.

"Do you think Vickie is a lesbian?" She spits out.

Robin always had more of a tough time finding people like her in Hawkins. She really likes this one girl named Vickie who is also in band and I sit next to her in one of my classes. As far as I know, she's super nice and would be great for Robin.

"Well I don't know...how does she act?"

"Well at the pep rally, she SMILED at me! And she's like super sweet but I don't know if she likes-."

"Boobies!" Steve interrupted her.

"Stop saying boobies that is gross!" Robin curls her fingers into a fist.

"Both of you guys seriously embarrass me." I laugh.

"Well I can't help it I'm stressed and I need help but Steve!"

Steve gives Robin a dirty look.

"Well Steve is a straight man who is still obsessed with his ex who's with a guy he was totally rude to!"

Robin smiles at Steve as he gets frustrated.

"Your still in love with Nancy?" I say as I sit down behind the front desk, with my arms crossed.

"What! No! It's just, I wonder what's going to happen since Jonathan is in California, i mean there's no way she's happy." He looks down at his feet.

"So you wanna step in and stand up for her since her boyfriends not around huh?" I said in a teasing voice with a smirk on my face.

"Shut up y/n I invited you here for Robin not me!"

"Well it's a store so I can come whenever I want and you legally can't kick me out since I'm a paying customer." I smile as I hand him a $5 bill, taking a magazine off the desk.

"Your such a smart ass I love it y/n. Henderson has one point and Harringtons at zero!"

"Hey I wasn't aware that your still doing that stupid chart thing!" Steve scolded Robin as we giggled in unison.

We all talked for some more until it was starting to get late. Robin and Steve had to close up the shop, and I decided to go home.

As I walked out and got in my car, I stared at the bag on the floor from Eddie.
