Abella is an independent 12 year old girl. Having been born to a loving mother and father, Abella grew up as any normal child. Except, not many saw her as normal. Abella was born with hearing problems, that only seemed to get worse as she grew older.
Abella never really got along with the other kids, barely managing to hold a conversation that consisted of 'hi', 'why don't you talk?' or 'are you really deaf?'
She grew apart from the other kids, surrounded by murmurs and rumors based off herself. Nothing ever got to her, after all, she had everything she could ever want. She had a home, parents, toys, and more. Up until Abella was seven, she had a good childhood with a kind loving mother and father. Until just at the ripe age of seven, Abella lost her mother in a home invasion. After seeing her mother being shot down in front of her, Abella's life went downhill.
Her father became a drunken bastard, who barely paid much attention to Abella, and only laughed when he watched her suffer at his hands. Abella grew traumatized. With an abusive father, a mother who was no longer around, and her hearing that only seemed to worsen. All that changed when Abella managed to escape and run away from her horrid reality. Now 3 years later, she's found living in California.
Having been reported as 'Missing' for the past 3 years, to say people were shocked was an understatement. Authorities had finally pinpointed her location that she tried so hard to hide, and ran a dna test to find any other living relatives. To be even more surprised then they were before, they find that she has a family living in New York. A family she never knew about.
