*Mitsuri's pov*
After feeling a particularly hard slap on my cheek, followed by a sharp stinging I woke up. All around me was black silky hair, and sadly enough it was around me, preventing me from moving. After a few moments of struggling and trying to break free from the hair I heard a voice emerge from the darkness of the beams.
"Struggling is futile, I know why you're here and I will not be scared of you" From the shadows emerged a boy, his eyes two different colors. What eccentric eyes!
"Who are you and how did you find me?" His eyes bared an angry look, his mouth covered in bandages preventing me from seeing what was underneath.
"I will repeat myself once, and only once. Who are you and how did you find me?" He questioned, holding a frying pan as a... weapon?
"Well you see, I have absolutely no idea who you are nor do I know how I found you but I must say, your eyes are beautiful!" A confused and from what I could see flustered expression took shape on his face, causing him to walk back in shock. "So, hello! My name is Mitsuri Kanroji, and yours?"
Ignoring my question he then asks a different question this time. "Who else knows my location, Mitsuri Kanroji, tell me or I will feed you to my snake." Venom laced his words as he pointed at the not so friendly snake that had now stationed itself near the closed window.
"Please, I was being chased by some guards in the forest, came across your tower, and then," suddenly remembering about the satchel that held the tiara panic clouded by thoughts. "Oh NO, WHERE IS MY SATCHEL"
From what I could see on the top half of his face he became cocky. "I've hidden it somewhere where your grubby hands will never find it." Looking around I spotted a nearby pot that had some quite odd design choice on it.
"By any chance is it in that pot over there? Cause that seems like a very silly place to put a-" I was interrupted oh so rudely by another hit to the head and was once again met with darkness. Wow is my head gonna hurt after this.
                *one hour later*
Just like before I awoke to a stinging cheek and the white snake once again slithering down my arm. "If you would be so kind, CAN YOU PLEASE STOP THAT!"
In response to what I said all he did was simply stare at me and then back at the snake that had now taken his place at the bottom of his feet. Getting the memo I stay quiet, giving him time to talk. " So, what do you want with my hair, to cut it, sell it, use it for yourself?"
"NO, really the only thing I want to do with your hair right now is to get out and probably very far away from it! I'm sorry but I mean this in the kindest of ways in the fact that I wish to have nothing to do with your hair as of right now."
For the second time today confusion covered his face. "So you don't want to steal my hair?"
"Who have you been dealing with that they would want to steal your hair? Once again I was being chased, saw a tower and went up it hoping for cover but then was hit in the head by YOU!" A pout covered my face quickly as his snake climbed up from his new found spot on his shoulder to the frying pan that had been in my face for the majority of this conversation.
Even the snake seemed to have some sort of attitude cause I found myself being threatened by a snake. Pulling away from me the short male walked away, to talk to the snake. Wow, I wonder how long he has been stuck up here, he needs help! From the little meeting I heard a mention about my chest, reminding me about what I was wearing. Well I guess this isn't the best thing to wear to a heist. Not to mention I haven't even learned his name yet!
"Well then, Mitsuri Kanroji, I am going to offer you a deal so look this way," The male then pulled his hair, which mind you was still wrapped around me, and pulled me to the floor, "Do you know what these are?" He then removed a curtain that was covering a well done painting.
"Ah, you mean the lanterns that are in the kingdom every year for the prince? Those lights?" Excitement masked his face for a split second before going back to normal.
"Well, tomorrow evening they will appear once again as they do every year. You will act as my guide, take me to these lanterns, and return me home safely. If you do all of thai without fail then I will give you that worthless satchel back and leave you on your way."
"Apologies but that won't be possible. Sorry to burst your bubble but the kingdom does not exactly take any liking to me. This could possibly put you in high amounts of danger." Moving the wooden chair I was stuck in to the side I explained this to him, apparently sparking anger in the boy.
"Listen here Mitsuri Kanroji, something brought you here, whether it be fate or destiny-" "or a not so nice horse that hates my guts" "So I have made the decision to trust you, but trust me. When I tell you that you could tear this tower apart, brick by brick, and never find your precious satchel. It. Is. The. Truth." While saying this his voice was turned to a whisper, quite intimidating.
"Okay then, let me get this straight, you want me to bring you to the lights, bring you back home, and then I get my satchel back?"
"Yes and whatever's in that satchel that I could care less about."
