CARTER AWOKE THE NEXT morning to the faint sound of a blender coming from the Fisher house. With their windows always open in the mornings━━it was easy to hear.
With a groan, Carter rolls out of bed. As she's about to grab her phone as always, the debutante invitation catches her eye on her nightstand. She stares at it momentarily before picking it up, and signing it.
She decides to text Isabel about the whole thing. It was something Carter would love to do, but she didn't want to do it alone. They promised to do everything━━if not, mostly everything with each other. Besides, it's not like she had anything else going on other than going to the beach and making bracelets she had way too much of.
