After rescuing Uncle Iroh, Zuko investigated the nearby villages of where the Avatar may be and one of them spilled that he was going to the Fire Nation on the solstice to talk to someone.

Now you all were back on the ship heading to the Fire Nation. A place where you dreaded being.

"Sailing into Fire Nation Waters? Of all the foolish things you've done in your 16 years, Prince Zuko, this is the most foolish." Uncle Iroh said.

"I have no choice, Uncle." Zuko said.

"Have you completely forgotten that the Fire Lord banished you? What if you're caught?" You asked.

"I'm chasing the Avatar. My father will understand why I'm returning home." Zuko spat back.

"You give him too much credit." You said shaking your head.

"Prince Zuko, my brother is not the understanding type." Uncle Iroh said.

Zuko completely ignores what you and Uncle Iroh are saying to him and looks more into the telescope. "They they are." Zuko said. "Helmsman, full steam ahead!"

Before you could even get a chance to breathe Zuko brings out a whole cannon ball and shoots fire balls at the flying bison. All you could do is stand there with a deadpanned look.

"Zuko, we're running into a problem. There's a blockade." You announce.

There were many Fire Nation ships circling in a singular motion.

"Technically we're still in Earth Kingdom territory. Turn back now and they cannot arrest you." Uncle Iroh said.

"But he's not turning around!" Zuko said.

"Please, Prince Zuko. If the Fire Nation captures you, there is nothing I can do. Do not follow the Avatar." Uncle Iroh said.

"It's a bad idea. If you go into the Fire Nation, you won't ever be able to capture the Avatar." You said.

"I'm sorry," he said. "Helmsman! Run the blockade!"

Then all of a sudden hundreds upon hundreds of fire balls are launched into the sky. One of them was about to hit the ship.

"I got this." You said.

You jump from the railing to the top of the ship towards the fire ball as two pink-flamed swords came out of your hands as you cut the fire ball in half. You landed back onto the ship.

"I don't think that's all there is." You said.

Off in the distance, the Avatar got passed the blockade, but now you all were going to be in a collision course.

(A/N: okay sorry for the switch up but I'm changing it to 3rd person)

But out of nowhere, Zhao and his ships stop and let them pass and now Y/N and Zuko were back in Fire Nation territory.

-

"What's he up to? Why didn't Commander Zhao arrest me?" Zuko asked.

"Because he wants to follow us. He knows you know where the Avatar is heading to." You said.

"If he wants to follow our trail of smoke, then that's exactly what I'll let him do." Zuko said. "You guys keep leading him North. I'll go to the Avatar myself."

"I'm coming with." Y/N said.

"No you're not. You're staying here." Zuko said. "And don't argue with me. Not in a time like this."

Y/N just groans in disappointment as Zuko left on a smaller ship.

-

In short, Zuko didn't end up getting the Avatar and came back empty handed. Y/N expected this to happen the moment he got back on the ship and now she and Zuko are both traitors of the Fire Nation. Just great.
