It was far later than it should have been when Indigo finally walked through the doors of the Wheeler household. Karen, who had it of been Nancy would have gotten highly irate, gave her a small smile as she passed, her own mother would have been furious with the lack of calls and how late she had gotten home, but she was almost relieved that Karen didn't question her.

She ran up the stairs and into her room, closing the door quickly behind her, it was only when she turned round she noticed Nancy and Mike sat on her bed, Mike was smirking but Nancy had a scowl on her face.

"Where've you been?" She questioned, looking her up and down, noticing the Hellfire t-shirt she was wearing "and what is that?" She asked, pointing to it.

""I told you, Eddie brought her to the D&D game and he walked her home" Mike interjected

"Yes, but that's doesn't explain why it's 9pm and she's only just getting in" Nancy replied, raising an eyebrow at her cousin.

"We just went on a little walk that's all, and I spilt water on my top during the D&D game, so he gave me his"

"'Must have been a long walk" Mike chuckled, earning him a scowl from Indigo.

"I told him okay, why I was here and then I thought he'd died and then we kissed and then he brought me home, happy now?"

"You told him?" Mike said, at the same time Nancy blurted out "you kissed him?"

Indigo sighed, putting her bag down on the floor and going to sit crossed legged behind them on her bed. Nancy turned round, sitting the same way as Mike sat perched on the end.

"I don't what it is about him guys, it's like I've always known him y'know, I didn't feel worried about telling him about mum and dad, it's like I knew he wouldn't judge them"

"Yeah but he's Eddie the freak" Nancy questioned, earning her a small shoved from Mike.

"He's not a freak" both Indigo and Mike said at the same time.

"You know, Eddie asked me about you today"

"He said," indigo chuckled, "he also said that you refused to tell him, thanks Mike" she ruffled his hair, earning a groan from Mike, but he took it anyway. "Aren't you going to see El tomorrow? Shouldn't you get packing? Or getting to sleep"

"Yeah okay, I get, girl talk" Mike shuffled off the bed, before turning round at the door "I think you'll be good for Eddie, he's really cool" he said one last time, before closing the door behind him.

"So?" Nancy stretched her legs out, smiling, "you kissed?"

"Oh my goodness Nance, it was amazing, like I could have kissed him forever"

"That's what it's like with Jonathan" she said sadly, not meeting indigos eye. Indigo knew Nancy and Jonathan were having a few issues, but there was no way of helping, not without forcing one of them to make a move, and from the odd conversation she'd had with Jonathan she knew he was going back and fourth between doing that.

"You two will figure it out you know"

"Yeah, yeah I hope so! Come on, we should get some sleep" Nancy stood up, hugging her cousin slightly, she stopped at the same spot Mike did, smiling slightly "I really am pleased you've found someone you can talk to"

Indigo nodded, and waited for Nancy to close her bedroom door before she lay back on her bed, kicking her shoes to the floor and shimmying out of her bottoms, she considered sleeping in Eddie's t-shirt, but instead chose to fold it neatly on her bedside table, deciding she'd rather wear it another day than ruin it with sleep.
