Our First Sunday

It's Saturday evening and Meredith is still in bed, wide awake, check-in on her emails when she heard her phone ringing

"Hey" She smiled, after picking up the phone

"Hey uh I'm sorry I haven't called in days I was just um- we've been busy with you know - filming" Nick said

"Yeah I understand" Meredith nodded, as if he can see her

"How's your uh- meeting with Mr Castello?" Nick asked

"Greater than I expected actually" Meredith chuckled"Have you seen the product?" she then asked, hesitantly

"Yeah I did, I can't wait to buy it" Nick chuckled, smiling brightly

"You do know that it's a woman's perfume right?" Meredith reminded, raising her eyebrows while softly laughing

"I know, it's uh- I'll buy it so that I can just smell it and pretend I'm with you even if we're miles away from each other" Nick chuckled

"I miss you" she theb said, smiling sadly

"I miss you too, I can't wait to see you tomorrow" Nick said smiling.

"I have to tell you something... tomorrow" Meredith said nervously

"About?" Nick asked

"Just... I'll tell you tomorrow, it's hard to explain it on the phone" Meredith rambled.

"Is it serious?" Nick asked, she could him getting worried just by hearing his voice

"It's not - maybe I don't know. For me it's not I don't know with you" Meredith rambled, leaving Nick more confused"Just - Come early,okay" she added in sigh, before hanging up.

How  is she going to explain to him that she's gonna be working working with his mortal enemy.
Meredith knew how Nick hated Andrew,he told her about it, about why did he hate Andrew so much,too the point he had to transfer into other school back then.

But listening to him while he's telling her the story... she could feel that there's more in the story, there's more, a small detail that seems to be missing,a small detail that he won't tell her. She felt that he's hiding something from her,she can't just bring up the courage to ask him about it again, because she also knew how much Nick hates talking about him,and their past.

It's almost 8 in the morning and Meredith was in her living room, working out, trying to keep her figure for the upcoming launching. She was walking towards her fridge grabbing her face towel from the couch when she heard the door unlocked, sign that someone walked in.

"Hey, you're here early" she greeted confused,but clearly happy to see him again, walking up to him kissing him

"Hey,sorry didn't mean to just barge in - I just thought you're still asleep and" he paused for a moment seeing the yoga mat next to the couch" you're working out" he continued, smiling but confused

"Hmm yeah I just need to continue my diet well have a photoshoot tomorrow" she answered while walking towards the fridge as Nick took off his coat and put it on the kitchen counter.

"You don't need a diet, you're already hot and sexy" he then said, walking towards her, hugging her from  behind, wrapping his arm around her waist and his head on her shoulder "I missed you" he then whispered

"Miss you too" she replied, turning around to kiss him again this time more passionately, he picked her up as she wrapped her legs around his waist making their way on the couch.

"Mm-miss this couch" Nick said through the kiss, panting heavily

"I'm sweaty... can't have sex" she said pulling away
