I woke up the next morning with a headache, looking around the room I noticed I was in my bedroom? The last thing I actually remembered was still being in the club. I looked at my bedside table.

Laying there on top of it was two tablets of pain relief and a glass of water.

I just left them there and walked into the bathroom. I was still wearing the clothes I put on last night. My heels were taken off though.

My hair was a mess and my makeup was smudged, all into a mess. I walked back into the bedroom and took the pain relief and chugged the water.

Walking back into the bathroom I turned on the shower water and stripped out of my clothing. I locked the bathroom door and jumped into the shower.

I let the water hit my face, pulling back once it started to sting. I reached up towards my left eye and I noticed it was swollen.

I huffed out, the only thought going through my head was that I knew she would look much worse.

I washed my hair and before I knew it I was back out of the shower. I wrapped a towel around my body and ran my fingers through my wet hair.

I decided I was gonna give my hair a break today and I would let it air dry.

I threw on some white washed pants, and a white tank top. I walked back into the bathroom and threw the towel up into my hair.

I didn't even want to cover up my black eye. I actually just wanted to embrace it.

I sat in my room for awhile, then I decided I would go through my family's book. I walked into my closet and opened up my bag, expecting to see the book there.

But what I had to found, was the cover. Cut out and ripped. I tore off the towel in my hair and marched towards the door. Slamming it shut, immediately walking towards the kitchen.

To my dismay I found everyone, including Victoria. "So what you couldn't take getting your ass beat so you destroy my family's book?!" I stated throwing the cover at her.

She quickly turned around, and I noticed how horrible she actually looked. She smirked watching the cover hit the floor, which only made my anger rise even more. The last element I had of my parents was gone.

I lunged at her, and slammed her onto the ground again.

"Woah, Woah, Woah!" I heard a voice from behind me.

I backed up off of her, backing away and out of the kitchen. I quickly walked into her room. Throwing all of her belongs to the ground. I tugged out all of her drawers, throwing all of her cloths out of it. Finally finding the cover missing book.

To be scribbled out, and almost completely destroyed. I grabbed the book and walked out of her room only to run into a taller figure.

Grabbing ahold of me and tugging me into his room. "I know you pissed off! You can't go back into there right now!" He stated letting go of me once he shut the door.

He walked into his own closet and grabbed a bag, dumping it out onto the bed. I could see that it was his bag of weapons.

A lot of them looked a lot like the ones in the training room, except these ones were the real deal.

"Vampires, have flooded through the institute." He stated handing me some sort of sword, and what looked like a gun.

"Evidently the book included something Veronica had to share to Magnus Bane. I have to get you out of the institute." Stating again walking behind me now to show me exactly how to work everything he handed me.

"It's like a gun, except you slightly have to aim a bit less?"

I nodded my head, putting my thumb up to cock it back gracing his while doing so.

"Good, you know somewhat what your doing!" He stated in a bit of a panic. Adding on to his panic attitude I answered him back.

"If that's what you could say?" I stated watching him walk over towards his drawers.

"Considering they know what your wearing you need to change!" He stated throwing a pair of his shorts at me and a black t-shirt.

He swiftly turned around fiddling with something else in the room. I took that as my que to change. Which it wasn't.

I officially put on his shorts and I was in the middle of putting his shirt on once he turned around and walked back over towards his bed. Putting something else into his bag.

He didn't seem to mind so I shrugged it off and continued to put on his shirt. He threw another hooded sweatshirt at me.

"Put it on and keep the hood up?" I looked at him, with his tone he was giving me. "Please for the love of god, put it on?" He stated eying me.

I rolled my eyes and put the sweatshirt on tugging up his hood, he grabbed his bag and made sure I had everything peace of weapons he gave me just in case we ran into anyone.

Throwing the bag over his shoulder he walked out first, and tugged me along. Walking down the long hallway, I could hear everything.

Screaming and crying, I turned my head for one second. One second was all it took.

Watching Isabelle struggle was all it took.

I walked away from Jace.
