I only got a total of four hours of sleep, the mattress was far to comfortable for my liking and throwing everything on me, I stayed up all night thinking about how my whole life was a lie.
I got up from the bed scattering the blankets to the floor. I rubbed my eyes and looked in the dresser mirror.
I looked like I got hit by a bus. I quickly walked into the attached bathroom. Where a lot of supplies was already set up. A grabbed a hairbrush and yanked it through my hair.
My hair was strangely curly so I just gave up and brushed my teeth. Walking out of the bathroom, I decided I was gonna go ahead and just look around myself.
I opened the door and closed it walking down the long hallway, and up some stairs. Every single step I took echoed.
I walked into the nearest room I could find, which looked like a library, but much more grand.
Reading really wasn't my thing but I'm sure I could end up finding something I liked in here. I walked down the stairs, and walked over towards the tall bookshelf.
Skimming my fingers a crossed the books, stopping at "The Great Gatsby" I picked it off the shelf and rubbed my sleeve on the cover, removing the dust.
Skimming over it for a bit, I sat down in a chair and opened up the books. But before I could start the door creaked open.
I looked up from the book, to be met by Jace walking down the stairs. "Hodge needs to speak to you." He said grabbing the book from my hands and placing it in his hands.
"Who is Hodge? And when can I see everyone?" I asked him. He just shook his head. "I'm not sure, that isn't up to me." He said truthfully.
I stood up from the chair and waited for him to lead the way, he started walking directly beside me.
"How'd you sleep?" He asked crossing his arms. "Well what time is it now, about five? I sleep worth shit" I said back to him causing him to laugh.
"Well, why didn't you sleep good?" He asked me just wanting to start conversation. "Well, to be far the beds here are way to damn comfortable. And I just didn't find peace in my mind?"
"You complain a lot? The beds are completely fine and your just not used to the luxury?"
"What's that supposed to mean?" I asked him questioning him again.
"Take it as you want it to be" he shrugged smirking. "You don't look so great yourself you know?" I stated looking him up and down.
I was lying to myself. Just while rolling out of bed he looked like a god. That is when I noticed he didn't have a shirt on.
"Waking around half naked? Imagine if I did that?" I said smirking.
"It would sure be a sight to see" he said laughing now. I laughed at what he said. "Seriously put a shirt on?" I said matter of factly. Only making him laugh even more.
"Stop staring then Violet?" He said raising his brows. "I'm not staring, your just there?" I said back.
He turned towards me and my face was directly turned looking at him. He only smirked more, making my head go completely straight.
Before I new it we were right infront of my room. "Your gonna wanna change before you go down." He said looking me up and down.
"Yeah and your gonna wanna put a shirt on?" I said, only making him smirk again. "I don't have to see Hodge, you do which doesn't involve me." He said walking across my door and reaching for his door.
"But what if we run into someone? Who's to expect something coming from a shirtless Jace and the new girl?" I said back to him once he opened up his door.
"Toućhe" he said walking into his room. I walked into mine and dumped out all of my bags of clothes.
I threw on some jeans and a sweater. I ended up finding my makeup bag and I walked into the bathroom. Throwing on some mascara and some lipstick I closed it back up and scrunched up my hair just a bit.
I made it out of the room before Jace and I somewhat felt proud of myself. I knocked on his door, and I was met with no answer.
I knocked again, and this time he answered. "Come in" his voice sounded rather unpleasant. So I pushed the door open and I crossed my arms.
Finding him in jeans now, still with no shirt on. "How long does it take to find a shirt?" I asked him.
"Precisely no time, because I'm not wearing one?"
"Did you not here what I said?" I said sitting down in one of his chairs. "What is it with you wanting me to wear a shirt? Do you have something against people not wearing shirts" he acted stunned.
"I do when I don't want to look like the newbie tramp?" I said back to him walking over towards his closet, opening up the door.
"Your not one for color are you?" Looking down at his, white and black shirt collection. "No not really?" He said walking up behind me and shutting the closet door.
I turned my head backwards to give him an annoyed look but he was already giving it to me. To bad I could have cared less.
I flew open the closet door, and grabbed one of his t-shirts before he could shut it again.
I turned around to hand it to him, he took it reluctantly at first but then his evil smirk had came back and he threw it into my face.
My mouth automatically gapped open and I took the shirt from my face, to see him not infront of me, now sitting in a chair.
"Your very stubborn" I mocked him from what he said yesterday.
I threw the t-shirt back into his face, and he just held it in his hands. With a hurt facial expression, mocking on his features.
"Put it on! Or else I'll be late to meet Hodge, and I'll blame it on you!"
He sighed and put the t-shirt on but my hand hit my forehead, seeing the lipstick mark it had left from where he threw it in my face.
