I carried a total of three bags, while Jace carried a total of two. He made sure to keep asking me if I wanted him to carry more bags but I just kept saying no.
I walked behind him and sighed, kicking rocks with my shoes. Crashing into him once he came to a stop I huffed again.
"You took me to an abandoned-
But before I could finish my sentence the church became majestical, glowing from all the lights. I almost dropped all the bags.
The doors opened and Jace quickly ushered me in. I looked around amazed. "Follow me please-
But his voice was cut off by another voice. "Who In the hell is that?" A voice rang out coming down the stairs.
I turned around to see Jace already walking towards him pulling him away from me. They began to converse between them selfs.
I threw the bags down onto the floor and went to look around, the room of course. I wasn't going to just fly in here and act like I owned the place?
I looked over the paintings that hung around the room. Them being very dark and a bit gruesome I walked away from them.
Back towards where my bags were. Soon enough the guy that Jace was speaking to walked off and Jace walked back towards me.
Him picking up more bags this time I made a face at him. Picking up the remainder of bags, to be precise only one, I looked up at him.
"This way, you'll be staying in a room down this hallway." He said walking up the stairs and turning into a hallway.
Me being right behind him I looked at the doors as we passed them. Three doors were in-printed with the letters, A.L, I.L, and at the end of the hallway, J.W.
A crossed the hall was a room with no in-print on it. He opened the door and put the bags on the bed. I put my only bag on the bed also, and my face dropped. This whole room was certainly the whole room-space of my apartment.
"I'll let you settle in-
"Wait a minute!" I said pointing my finger at him. "Your not leaving intill you tell me exactly why on earth I'm here?" I asked him, sitting down on a chair.
"I'd rather not tell you-
"Oh spare me? You brought me here so you can atleast give me the favor of telling me why I'm here?"
"Yeah well, you wouldn't believe me anyways?" He said sitting on a chair directly in-front of me. "Try me?" I questioned him.
"Well you know how early I said, I thought you were something else? And I questioned you about your drawings right?" He said crossing his arms.
I nodded my head waiting for him to continue. He sighed and continued.
"Well your a shadowhunter? Your not a demon like I expected, and you have two siblings.." he said looking anywhere but where I sat.
"What is a shadowhunter?" I asked him, actually interested in the conversation. "What this whole place is made up from, what I am, and what the other are made of, what your made of.. precisely a person who kills demons for life basically?" He said being brutally honest.
"You mentioned I had siblings? How is that possible?" I asked him curiously. My mother died when I was little and there was no sign in my father being around.
"Well.. I'm not very sure.. you were stolen.. a very long time ago by a tribe of vampires.." I got up from his seat quickly and made his way towards the door.
"You should get some rest, I'm sure tomorrow is going to be a hell of a day" he said laughing walking out and closing the door.
