Third person's pov.
"Janus?" Patton said, Janus turning his head in surprise at seeing Patton there as well.
"Hi, what are you doing here?" He asked.
"Oh i just love cooking! I was looking for new inspiration, and what better place than a cooking class for free!" Excitement in Patton's voice as he beamed with all his happiness. It made Janus smile.
"What about you though?"
Janus chuckled at Patton's question. Oh boy.
"Well... I just find it interesting" He hesitated telling Patton the actual reason why he was there. He surely couldn't tell the fatherly side of them all, that neither Remus or him could make proper food. He could make sandwhiches or on a good day cook pasta, but no one taught the ones at the dark side how to take care of themselves.
Virgil is lucky he could get away and get Patton's delicious meals and goods.
That's why he signed up for a cooking class.

The teacher came in and explained the rules and what they would do for today.
The people attending the class then got sepperated into groups of 4.
Patton and Janus ended up in the same group.

"Oh no Janus, here let me show you a tip to do it easier" Patton said as he took the knife from Janus and showed him how he could chop the tomatoes.
"Thanks" He whispered out and did as Patton had showed him.
Their team did well. Considering most there had no idea how to cook.
Janus admired the way Patton knew the things and was so passionate about cooking.
When he gets good enough, will he also love it?
Will he go around humming songs randomly, even when focused?

The first class went by quickly since their first task wasn't too hard.
Janus couldn't even wait until he could come to the next after this.
Learning how to cook. And being there with Patton.
There's no dark side and light side. There's no enemies or heros who have to fight.
He doesn't have to lie around Patton. In fact he feels at place there.

Timeskip

Janus was getting good at cooking and Patton felt so proud with having watched his progress.
Patton enjoyed getting this quality time with Janus.
It finally didn't have to be a video for them to be the same place and talk.
He learned a lot of things about Janus actually.

"So it just have to cook for-" "30 minutes, i know dear" Janus interrupted Patton, who was going to remind him. "See you already got this!" Patton felt his cheeks turn more pink.
He was starting to enjoy hanging with Janus a bit more than he thought he would.
He knew he could never let this be known to any of the others, they would simply kill him.
The word dear was stuck in Patton's brain for the whole next week.
Every time Patton had to cook for the others, or even himself, he would think back to Janus.

As the classes were coming to and end both of them knew they would have to do something to still be able to have their special times like this.
"Patton would you accompany me to make some dinner and watch a movie this weekend?" Janus asked, his face darkening as he awaited the rejct.
However it never came.
"I would love to!" Patton beamed and gave Janus a toothy smile.

Saturday night they met up and prepared a lovely meal and found a movie to watch after.
Janus could finally show off his skills to Patton who could only watch in awe.
Patton picked a movie and halfway through they were both cuddled up against each other.

The classes came to an end but Morality and Deceit met up each weekend to do their new little tradition. One day Patton slipped up and accidentally told Janus on how he felt around him.
Patton refused to have eye contact with Janus and got flustered and felt awkward.
Janus took a moment to take it in, as well as how Patton had reacted to it. He gently wrapped his arms around the other side and told him not to be ashamed since he returned the feelings.

At first it was all awkward and always making sure the other was okay with everything in the relationship, but as time flew by they forgot all of that and just lived their small secret life on weekends. The cooking classes were definitely the best choice they had made.

||I have both school and work but I wrote this short one to thank you for 15K and because I simply haven't uploaded a chapter for over a month.
