The day has come. It's Saturday.
It's the day they both agreed to meet again to catch up on things they missed with each other after a long separation. New can contain his excitement but is nervous at the same time as he thinks of what he will wear later. He goes back and forth at his full-size mirror still can't seem to find the exact clothes he will wear later since he doesn't want to dress up too much but he doesn't also want to look like he doesn't care about dressing up. In the end, he wore light blue polo with a white shirt inside of it.
He heard a familiar voice as he closed his closet, "You look nice with it." He closed his eyes for a second remembering that he was sure he locked the door earlier. Without evening looking, he can tell is his sister. Aside from they being just three of them, she is the only guts to act as if they were okay because if it is his mom, all he will gonna hear is yelling and screaming.
"Get out." New command. Despite of big argument between him and his mom, Bella is still trying hard to get his forgiveness.
"Are you on a date?" Bella asked, completely ignoring what he said. There is no way he will tell her that he is meeting Tay. No, never in his life was New Will gonna do that stupidest thing. Just thinking how crazy in love that guy is with his sister makes his blood boil even more. He sighs to calm himself down. He still recovering from the fight and he doesn't want to start an argument with her. He wants this day to be better. The younger took a glance at her, she was wearing a beautiful red dress but she doesn't have makeup on and her hair is tied in a messy bun. Bella noticed that New is looking at his dress. "I'm not going anywhere, I just tried it on to see if it looks good on me." She says.
New sighed for the second time and grabbed his phone and wallet. He's ready to go out and see Tay. He needs to get out before everything goes wrong. He wasn't sure how much patience he have in his body.
"When are you going home?" Bella asked. As usual, he didn't answer. He makes sure he sprays his perfume before leaving his room. Bella followed him like a lost puppy until he reached the door. Before he finally twisted the doorknob, he slightly turned his head behind him.
"It fits you." He said and left the house. He didn't get a chance to see his sister's reaction. He hopes that that's enough to stop his sister from clinging to him whenever he's home since she never listens. Sometimes inside of him missed the way they used to be when everything is fine.
Tay did not message him the location and told New to come to his café instead. He didn't ask why would he need to go there and why not meet to where exactly going. Even if he wants to complain, he can't. He trying to suppress the spoiled and attitude brat in him. No one knows if Tay is still the Tay that can tolerate that kind of attitude of him. He doesn't want Tay to regret meeting him again. Who knows how patient the older is? For now, he wants to stay cool as much as he can. He just hopes he won't burst out in anger when something happens.
He arrived at Tay's café by riding a taxi. The weather is nice, not many people around the area, it is so peaceful. New looked up the Tay's café, located on the second floor. He can tell that there is no customer by just looking at the glass window. He finally went up. As soon as he got there, he saw the sign say 'Closed', a bit confused and panicked. What if Tay forgot that they were supposed to meet here? He was just about to open the door to check if someone is inside when he felt a presence at his back.
"You're early," Tay speaks behind New.
Tay was wearing his white trousers and short striped polo. Though he was carrying two small boxes with him, New can't stop staring at him. He looks so mature with his clothes—and handsome. No wonder he already got a girlfriend. From a kid that doesn't care about his looks to a mature handsome businessman that probably goes to the gym.
