Chapter 29

The time goes by so slowly since they were trapped on this island for 1 week. They couldn't do anything but continue this wreck vacation and forced themselves as if everything is okay. Mix is doing everything he can to remove the tension between them, but it's no use. No matter hard he tries none of them wants to collide and make up with each other. Even if he gathers all of them in one place they will still have their world.

"I'm here for vacation not babysitting some adults who are acting like a child," Mix said as he massage his forehead.

Off tapped Mix's shoulder. "Thank you for looking out for us." He said.

Mix smiled at him. "What about New? Does he talk to you?" Off's smile faded as soon as he heard the younger's name and shook his head. "Sorry," he apologizes.

"You don't have to." Off said as he tries to smile to reassure Mix.

New locked himself in the room after what happened. He is just waiting for days to pass by to get himself out of this resort. Off ended up sleeping in Mix and Earth's room. He decided to leave the guy alone but still checked on him from time to time.

"May I ask you something?" Mix nodded. Good thing is they are both alone on the balcony to get some fresh air while drinking their coffee. "I've been thinking this for some time, do you think the situation wouldn't have been like this if I had manned up and confessed to New then?" Off asked.

There is a moment of silence before Mix could answer him. He knew that they are sensitive because of what was happening today, so he is trying to think of some words that won't affect Off.

He took a deep breath. "All of you seem like want to go back in time." He took a sip as he look at the beach. "Let me see if I get what you were trying to say. You were trying to say is you are blaming yourself." He said that made Off surprised.

"N-No, I—"

Mix cuts him off. "Things happen for a reason, heard that line before? Do you really think that it will change if you confess before? That's dumb. If that happened, all I see is you will end up in the same situation as Gun. New will leave you, he will chase Tay, while you end up broken. Not far from what is happening now. What the problem is none of you wants to let go for the sake of their sanity and everyone. That includes you."

A bitter smile forms on his lips while looking at his coffee. He's right, Off thought. He's been avoiding that hoping that no one will notice. He is playing a good guy all this time but the truth is he is not. He wants to steal New from his best friend and hurts the man who truly loves him just for another man. Gun, he wonders where he is now. At least, he would've apologized to Gun and compensated for all the pain he caused. Now, he, even more, understands what he has been through all those years.

"Hey, don't be like that just because it took you so long to be true to yourself." This time, he is the one who tapped Off's shoulder. "It doesn't mean you want it, you can say it. Maybe you didn't only consider the situation as it was at the moment, but you also considered the outcome. Just that alone, I can say you are a good person."

"You think so?" Off said.

Mix nodded. "Yes, I believe some things better left unsaid."

As they were talking, they heard noises from the other room. It's been several days since they were hearing noises and shouting from Tay and Bella's room. After what happened that dawn, they will constantly fight over and over again. They don't even know what happened to them but no one wants to go between them.

All of them were tired of shit happening in this house. They just want this week to be over.

"Where did you go?" Bella asked. Tay's shoulders dropped after seeing her like this. He just went out to have some water downstairs and now she is acting like he is cheating. He closed the door and locked it. "I said where did you go?!" She shouted.
