Sahana couldn't believe her own eyes, she couldn't move a muscle, as though her body was frozen and a bolt of lightning had struck her body from head to toe. This was the man who made her feel at the top of the world once upon a time, but this was also the same man who shattered her heart into pieces, and gave her an indescribable pain. The man who promised to be there for her but was not there when she needed him the most. Sahana is using all of her will not to cry, especially not in front of Shiva, she had to seem strong in front of him. She wished the earth would swallow her right now so that she did not have to face him. She didn't know what to feel exactly at this moment, she felt light headed and she could feel a pulse in her head. From her point of view she had all the rights to be mad and disappointed at Shiva. Of Course she had all the rights, she is Shiva's lawful wedded wife.
After all these years, Shiva could read Sahana's emotions through her eyes. His Raangi was standing right infront of him, yet he couldn't feel happy wholeheartedly. Shiva could hear his own heart pounding against his chest. Guilt was written all over Shiva's face. Even though, It was a chilly evening, beads of sweat were forming on Shiva's forehead. He was anxious and nervous, he was never this nervous in front of anyone before but at the same time he didn't mind being vulnerable in front of his own wife. All that Shiva wanted to do at this point is to plead for forgiveness from the love of his life. But he was afraid, what was he afraid of? Shiva is not someone who is afraid to own up to his own mistake. He was afraid of rejection, especially if the rejection came from Sahana. He didn't want to go through the pain of separation again, the pain that he has been going through for the past 6 years.
The moment their eyes collided, it was as if the entire universe understood their pain. The both of them were bearing their own type of pain because of each other, and the cure of pain is the pain itself. Shiva is the cure to Sahana's pain, but is she willing to give her heart to Shiva again? Sahana is the healer to Shiva's pain, but will he win Sahana's heart back?
Suddenly, the sky was pitch black accompanied by the sound of thunderstorms. They were too busy processing what was happening, they didn't even realise they were almost drenched in rain.
"Neenga rendu perum ingge vaange, mazhai peiyuthu la." Both of them have been brought back to reality by Aishu's voice. Without thinking, the both of them ran to the patio of the house.

"Iver than Kingu, yenneye kapathunavere Amma"
As soon as Shiva heard Aishu calling Sahana 'Amma' his legs went weak. He kneeled down in front of Aishu. Tears were falling like a stream from his eyes, he couldn't believe his own flesh and blood was standing right in front of him. The child who turned his life colourful again after Sahana left, was his own daughter . There were many incidents that Aishu did back then in his house that reminded him of Sahana, but Shiva was in denial at that point. Now when he thinks back, Aishu is definitely his kutty Raangi. He couldn't hold his emotions anymore, he hugged Aishu as tight as he could and kissed her. He has gone through a lot today, there is just so much for him to process, he was drained emotionally. Shiva knew that Aishu did not have the idea that Shiva was her dad, and Shiva also knew that he didn't have the rights to demand it from Sahana yet.
As much as Sahana wants to stop Shiva, she knows he has all the rights over Aishu. Now Sahana has the answer, on why Aishu has been asking about her dad ever since she came back from King's house. No matter how hard Sahana tried to fill Aishu's father's place there was a missing puzzle in Aishu's heart and Aishu found the missing piece in Shiva. But Sahana was not ready to tell Aishu that Shiva is her dad. But sooner or later she has to tell Aishu before she finds out by herself.
"Kingu alugathe, naanum unneye rombe miss panne teriyuma? Amma kitte unnei pathi than sollikithe irunthen." Aishu wiped off Shiva's tears. Shiva could only offer a weak smile to Aishu and hugged her again. Sahana used that split moment to observe Shiva. He definitely looks different now, he was not the fit gym body Shiva anymore, has he put on some weight? His hair and beard is not as crisp and tidy as it used to be, is he not taking care of himself anymore? He has started to wear glasses now, does he have blurred vision? Sahana had all these questions in her mind while looking at Shiva. 'Yen Sahana, unneke yenna vanthuche? Nee yean avene pakere? Pathethom illame, ivelo kelvi un manasu kulle oduthe, itheke yenna arthem?' her inner self asked her.

"Amma vange ma ulleke polam" Aishu was excited to enter the house, at the same time Sahana got a call from an unknown person. Shiva was deep in his own thoughts, while looking at the rain, he barely noticed what was happening around him.
"Amma phone pesithu varren, ne first ullai po ma, amma pinnadiye varen.'' Sahana answered the call. "Hello yaar pesuruthu?"
"Naan yaru nu unneke teriyathe Sahana but ne yaaru nu yenneke nalla ve teriyum, ne Kumbakonam la thaniya un ponnu kudhe irreke num teriyum, avele bathirema partheko seriya." the other person on the phone said it with an evil laugh. Before Sahana could say anything, that person ended the call. Sahana was very much confused, it was as if the voice sounded very familiar to her. She was very worried about the safety of her daughter. So she called the driver who was sitting in the car. "Driver Anna, ingge vange na." She called in a very worried manner that Shiva was brought back to the real world. Shiva noticed Sahana's worry, as much as he wanted to talk to Sahana, he didn't want to make her more tense than she already is.
"Sollunge madam?"
"Anna namme ippove kilambenum Chennai ku, papa ve kutikithe ippove pogelam. Aishu ma ingge va" She called Aishu to the patio of the house where everyone was standing.
"Ippo inthe night time la poghe mudiyathe madam, mazhai vera rombe heavy ah irruku. Namme pore pathai la thani yaerirekum. Nalikki morning pogelam madam." Sahana was not convinced, she became more disturbed. Shiva thought it was because of him that she wants to leave, but if it was because of him she would have left the moment she saw him. Shiva sensed that Sahana was in a problem, so he offered to stay and accompany them tonight, at the same time Aishu came to the patio joining Shiva and Sahana.
"Yenggeluku yaaru help um thevai ille, naangele pathkerom" Sahana brushed off Shiva's offer.
"Amma, yen ma ippudi pandringe, Kingu than namme kudhe stay pannuraru nu solraru la, please ma" Sahana didn't have the heart to say no to Aishu's wish at the same time Sahana also knew that Shiva will be able to protect them but she refused to admit that part to herself. As much as Sahana didn't want to share the same space with Shiva, all that mattered right now is her daughter's happiness.
"Cheri neenga iniki night ingge irrekelam." Shiva's heart ached when his own Raangi was treating him like a third person. 'Ne Va Po' has always been their love language. They were not like any other ordinary couple, they respected each other in many other ways. But these are baby steps for him to win his Raangi and Papa back.

"Kingu va kingu ulleke pogelam" Aishu was pulling Shiva's hand addressing him to come inside. But Shiva knows Sahana will not be comfortable with it so he said "Parevale ma ne Amma kudhe ulleke poi padetheko, naan inge (patio) paduthukeren."
Aishu was a bit sad with Shiva's answer but she went inside with Sahana.
After 10 mins, Sahana gave Aishu a blanket and said "Ungge king ku kulira poguthu, intha poruve poi kudhe averuke"
Aishu was still upset with Shiva "Mudiyathe ma, unngeleke avelo akkarai irenthal, neengalae poi kudhenge."
As much as Sahana hates to admit it, she still cared about Shiva. She went and gave the blanket to Shiva. Shiva was looking at Sahana hoping that she would say something, but Sahana didn't even look at Shiva. "Poruvae ku Thanks Sahana."
Sahana's heart skips a beat everytime she hears her name from Shiva's mouth, but her face doesn't show.
"Naan ungge mellai akkarai vechiruken nu nanikathinge. Yaara irunthalum naan ippedi than senjirupen" Sahana said while still not looking at him.
Shiva just smiled and thought to himself 'Yethene varsham agi kudiyom inthe raangi kaari ku thimiru koriyeve illeye. Cheri pathekelam'
