Shiva was not prepared for such a gesture from Sahana, he was taken aback by it. Shiva didn't know how to react, Shiva was hesitant to even move. The room was so silent, that they could hear the sound of each other breathing. Shiva could smell Sahana with each breath, oh god how much he missed this smell for the past 6 years. Sahana could feel Shiva's rapid heartbeat through his chest. Shiva could feel his shirt getting wet from Sahana's tears. Shiva didn't hug Sahana back, because as much as he was happy, deep inside he knew that Sahana hugged him not because she accepted him but instead, Sahana did it out of fear. She seeked comfort from his presence at the moment. The Sahana that Shiva knows will not be willing to accept him this easily. He is not allowing himself to enjoy the moment because he is afraid that tomorrow he might miss Sahana's touch again. Shiva and Sahana could hear a faint voice from outside.
"Engge da avele aale kanom? Inge tha irrupa poi thedunge da!" Sahana got even more afraid upon hearing their voice so she sobbed even harder against Shiva's chest.
"Shhh...Bayupudathe Sahana naan inge than iruken" Shiva was soothing Sahana like a small baby. Shiva put his hand over Sahana's head in a comforting manner. The moment Shiva laid his finger on Sahana, Shiva regretted it because he knows if they stay in this position any longer, he will not be able to stop himself from hugging her back, that is how much he misses his Raangi. "Sahana?" That one word made Sahana realise the position they were in, she immediately wanted to free herself from it. "Enna vidu Shiva!" Shiva smiled to himself, he realised that Sahana called his name and Sahana was no longer using 'Vange Ponge Neenga' language anymore.
"Athu yeppedi mudiyom Sahana, neethane ennai videnum?'' Sahana let go of Shiva and she was embarrassed when she realised that she was the one who made the first move. The moment Sahana let go of Shiva, deep inside she felt empty but she refused to accept it.
"Im sorry, inimel ippedi nadukathe" Sahana said that while avoiding Shiva's eye. Shiva's heart ached because Sahana was acting as if she didn't have the rights to touch Shiva. When there was no sign of anyone outside anymore, Shiva and Sahana went outside of the room. Both Sahana and Shiva were trying to shake themself out from the moment that they had together just now. The both of them couldn't believe that even after so many years, their touch definitely had a magic against each other, a magic that held them captivated against each other. Shiva and Sahana were both avoiding eye contact and scratching the back of their neck thinking on how to escape the awkward situation.

Sahana was in a confused state upon hearing Shiva's explanation, if there was no evidence against him so does that mean there was no dead body found? Sahana didn't know if she wanted to believe Shiva's statement, her heart said Yes but her mind said No.

Shiva understood that Sahana was referring to the trust that Shiva broke. Shiva was not ready to force Sahana any further, but at the same time he will not give up.
