The Lost Princess (DISCONTINUED)

Chapter One

"Aunt Daisy!" I called out, throwing open the back door. "I finished cleaning the shed, can I go into the forest now?"

Aunt Daisy walks out of the kitchen. She's wearing a yellow dress covered in pink flowers.

"Of course dear. Did you finish all your homework?" Aunt Daisy asked.

"Yeah," I nodded vigorously.

"You can go then," she smiled.

"Thanks, Aunt Daisy!" I placed a kiss on her cheek and left, heading towards the forest.

We live in The Kingdom Of The Silver Woods, which is located right next to the Emeralds Kingdom. Our house is right beside the forest, and I love going there. A month ago I discovered a large clearing, and I started going there often to think. Though mostly I go there to write my stories. I love writing. I have filled many notebooks with short stories, books and sometimes if I'm feeling inspired; poems. 

Once I reached the clearing, I sat down on some rocks and pulled out a small notebook and a pencil from my pocket, ready to continue my newly started story which I had started about a week ago. It's about a normal girl who gets a letter saying she's a princess, so she sets out to find the truth. I'm currently stumped with writer's block.

I start tapping my pencil against the notebook page impatiently. I've been trying to write this chapter for two days now.

I look up at the sky, hoping for inspiration to miraculously hit me. It's very blue today—not a cloud in sight.

Then I noticed something strange. All the birds were flying away. That's never happened before. Suddenly, I heard a loud bang, and the trees started shaking. I sprang up off the ground, almost dropping my notebook.

Oh god, are aunt and uncle okay?!

I rush back to the house.
