lunch~

I woke up the next morning , still on eddie's chest. i looked over at the clock on his nightstand , 6:50AM , school started at 8:00. and i had to pick up dustin from my house. I got off of eddie silently and grabbed my pants from the day before. oh yeah , i might wanna get a change of clothes while i'm getting dustin. I slid on my pants and kept eddie's shirt on . I looked in the mirror and started holding my stomach. ugh. i hated everything about my body. everything. i kept looking and grabbing at my stomach in the mirror until i heard eddie sit up in bed "why are you doing that?" he said slowly getting out of bed and coming behind me - putting his hands around my waist and looking at me through the mirror. "nothing eddie i just- i miss my summer body." i said- looking down. i had gained ten pounds since summer. Eddie just froze and kept looking at me in the mirror- then he turnt me around so he could look at me face to face "Y/N. during the summer you didn't eat unless i made you. you where unhealthy. Now your healthy, and beautiful- i mean look at yourself. Every girl at hawkins high would kill for your body type. it's perfect darling." eddie said as he pushed my hair behind my ear. I felt myself get teary eyes "t-thanks ed but i mean i just think i need to cut out on some of the carbs and maybe i could go back to the gym and maybe i cou-" i was cut off by eddie's lips attaching to mine. he kissed me. EDDIE MUNSON KISSED ME! I was shocked, then i closed my eyes and kissed back. Then we pulled apart. "Y/N . you.are.perfect." he said then looking me up and down. i wiped a tear that was running down my cheek. i had never had anybody comfort me when i was insecure, let alone call me perfect. "thank you so much eddie. you have no idea." I felt the butterflies in my stomach. Finally i looked away from the mirror and went to his bathroom, i washed my face with cold water then walked out into the kitchen. "Hey ed's!! do you think maybe you can drive me to my place to get dustin and so i can change really quick?" i yelled looking through his cabinets. "of course, do you want one or my shirts and you can't get jeans at your place?" i smiled to myself "yea sure! i want your hellfire one though" i said as i grabbed a breakfast bar. Eddie came out of his room throwing the shirt at me "thanks" i said as i took his nirvana shirt off- replacing it with his hellfire one. he had multiple hellfire shirts- this was just one of the many. although it was rather big on me- it's fine. Eddie looked at me and just grinned, then he grabbed his keys "let's go sweetheart.". We walked out of his trailer and got into his van.

time skip to arriving at y/n's house
i hopped out of his van and shut the door behind me, "wait here please. it'll be quick." I said rushing towards the house. I opened the front door "Dustin!! come on let's go!" Dustin came out of his room "y/n? where where you last night i was worried!" i smiled to myself "i was uh. at a friends" i said quickly . "anyways go outside and get in the van , i'll be right out. Eddie's driving us to school today." i said , dustin nodded and i headed back to my room- grabbing a pair of jeans and throwing them on. then i rushed back outside into the van.
"Ready sweetheart?" eddie said. "ready."
after a while we pulled up to the school. Eddie came around the car and opened the door for me. Taking my hand in his. I smiled "thank you
m'lord." we got out and began walking towards the school- Eddie was on my right. Dustin on my left. As soon as we passed the basketball group i heard jason , the king of hawkins say
"Well well well, looks like the freak got a hold of ms.henderson. he probably cursed her!" the whole group of boys began laughing. Eddie turnt around " she's my bestfriend.. but if she was more than that, you jealous jason?" eddie snickered as we continued walking- still hand in hand. i heard nothing else from the group of boys behind us.

Time skip to lunch.
I grabbed my tray . ew. the school food looked like literal prison food. i rolled my eyes and began to walk over to the "hellfire" table. i wasnt apart of the club. but eddie leaded the club, and he was my bestfriend. i followed him everywhere ever since he first met. some may say i'm attached to his hip. "hello pretty girl" eddie said looking at me dead in my eyes, "hey handsome" i said as i winked. ok. i can understand why some think we date. "by the way munson, my brother and his friend will be sitting with us today. they're quite weird but, aren't we all?" i chuckled at the last part. "i'm afraid we are" i took the seat closest to eddie as i saw my brother and mike walking over to the table. they looked.. nervous? "uhm. hey guys." dustin said- attempting a smile and standing there awkwardly with with mike. god. mike looked like he just came fresh out of the gap store. "take a seat guys ." they took a seat on the left side of the table, side by side. Eddie began eating the rough looking food "so. do you play uh- dnd like your sister here?" eddie said, slowly looking over at dustin and mike. "uhm actually yeah, we used to play all the time in mike's basement." dustin said nervously. the hellfire members looked at eachother. Eddie sat up quickly "join us, we need more people. or are you gonna be like your sister- and just be lame and not join?" eddie said glancing at me. i rolled my eyes. "oh yeah of course! i'm in" dustin said nudging mike "same.. i guess" mike blurted. "okay then"  eddie looked back at me. "you should join to" he said as i rolled my eyes again, taking a sip of water "wait. if she's not apart of hellfire- why does she have a hellfire shirt on?" mike said looking at me. the whole table looked over at me and eddie. "it's mine." eddie said. "are y'all- dating?" one of the hellfire members said. I spit out my water, feeling my face heat up. Eddie turnt red as well. and we both began rambling one hundred miles an hour- denying it. because we truly weren't. they all began laughing, "whatever you say munson." the other hellfire member said. i put my head in my hands and looked at eddie. he was smiling . he pushed my hair behind my ear and whispered, "why are you so embarrassed darling?" i froze. is he- flirting? i looked at him "because i just got accused of dating my crush" i mumbled . "what was that?"
he said. "oh, i said i just got accused of dating my bestfriend" i blurted quickly. "mhm." he said , then changing the subject about hellfire again. "well mike and dustin, we have a hellfire meeting today- if you'd like to come. it's 7:00-9:00" eddie said looking at the boys . "well i would but it's just me and micheal don't have a ride.." dustin said. Eddie grinned and shook his hands . "oh don't worry, your sister can drive you there and back home." i looked at eddie as he said that, "hey! i didnt agree to that!!" i said kind of annoyed. eddie took his finger and put it against my lips "shhh. you'll be fine, you can sit with me during the game." he said. i rolled my eyes "fine. but only because i get to see the amazing eddie munson crush my brother in dnd" i laughed.
