bats.

we landed in the upside down, i grunted as we hit the stone cold ground. "you okay doll face?" eddie groaned out "yea, you?" he nodded and stood up, pulling me up too. I looked around, "wow." i said. then we heard yelling, and hitting noises. i turned my head to see nancy and robin using oars to hit- birds? no. bats. i looked closey and i saw steve laying on the ground- holding his stomach.i looked at eddie and we began running over there. once we got over there, we both grabbed oars off the ground and helped fight the bats off. I felt one bat attach to my leg- but i thought nothing of it. after a while, we finally got them all. nancy dropped her oar and ran over to steve. dropping to her knees beside him. "steve! are you okay?" nancy said- inspecting his wounds. robin walked over and leaned down- i walked over as well and looked down at him as well. it looked- painful. nancy looked up at me, "y/n... your- your leg..." she said. i looked at her confused, then i looked down at my leg. i gasped as i saw blood rushing out of my left thigh. then- i really started to feel the pain. my eyes began watering and i looked up at nancy- then eddie. Eddie was looking at my leg- then he realized what was going on and rushed over too me. He came behind me and i slowly sat down, wincing it pain. Nancy and robin stared as i sat down. "don't worry about me, worry about him" i said, nudging my head towards steve. they nodded and kept on with steve, nancy wripped a piece of her shirt off- and put it over steve's wound- trying to stop the bleeding. i looked up at eddie, "eddie.. it- it hurts.." i said, gasping for air. i watched as more and more blood poured out of my wound. "shhh look i got you okay? don't worry." eddie said, taking his jacket off, then his shirt. he wrapped and tied it around my leg. it applied pressure to it, and stopped the bleeding. i sat against eddie and he wrapped his arms around my waist. kissing my head. "don't ever, scare me like that again. sweet heart." he said- his voice cracking. "i'm sorry i didn't purposely get bite by a bat." i chuckled, looking up at him. he smiled and kissed my lips. i smiled into the kiss and kissed back. "lover birds, looks like we got some more visitors coming our way." steve said, holding the piece of nancy's shirt against his wound. i looked up- he was looking down at us as nancy and robin where staring at the incoming bats in the distance. "are you sure you should be standing man- when did you even stand up." eddie said, chuckling. i laughed too as eddie slowly stood up- helping me up as well. "well one, i'm fine, and two- i stood up while you two where- having a moment." steve said, laughing slightly. i nodded and looked as the bats got closer "it's only a few- we can take them." i said- looking at the others. they nodded and picked up oars. just then, more bats came out of nowhere- a bunch of them. from a different direction. "maybe not, let's scram." robin said- looking at us. "agreed." nancy said, "let's roll. skull rock isn't far from here."nancy said. "uhm. what about me?" i mumbled, looking down at my wound. nancy turned and looked at me. "right, i think it's best if me and robin help you run right now, and eddie can help hold up steve since he's stronger and steve's heavier." nancy said. i nodded and walked in between robin and nancy. putting my hands around their shoulders. we began walking as i limped in between them. i slightly turned my head and saw eddie trying to help steve.

TIME SKIP:
EDDIES POV:
Nancy, Robin, and y/n where infront of us by a good distance.. helping y/n. While i was back here with steve, helping him. "So. You and y/n huh?" steve said, wincing at the end in physical pain. i laughed slightly. "yea man.. she's pretty great" i said. he sighed. "what about you and nancy?" i asked, he smiled slightly "i think i'm falling for her.. again. but hey, have you and y/n...?" steve asked. i felt a knot form in my stomach. i smiled to myself . "not yet, no" steve nodded "just be careful with her. she gets her feelings her quite easily." steve scoffed. i nodded and we continued walking.

TIME SKIP

Y/N'S POV:
we finally arrived at skull rock, nancy and robin set me down- propped up against the rock. i winced as i hit the ground. steve and eddie soon made their way over too. and steve leaned against the rock as well. nancy walked over to help steve with his wound again. and eddie walked over to me, and sat right beside me. he grabbed my right thigh and squeezed it slightly. i sat up a bit straighter and looked at him. "you okay?" eddie asked. i bit my lower lip and nodded. he looked me up and down then nodded. i looked over at nancy and steve. nancy was leaning down, wrapping steve's wound again.  i smiled to myself, happy for steve and nancy both. then i turned my attention back to eddie. He was humming a song, still having his hand on my thigh. I admired him, his hair, his nose, his eyes, his lips, everything. he looked over and caught me staring. "like what you see?" he scoffed. i turned red and nodded- then i covered my face with my hands. i felt him lean closer- moving my hands. "don't hide that pretty face from me sweetheart." he whispered- looking me in my eyes. i gulped.. kind of nervous. he laughed slightly "what's wrong.. cats got your tongue hm?" he said. i felt my whole body go cold. I shook my head "no just-" he cut me off. "admiring me?" he whispered. i froze up. then i heard steve clear his throat. we turned and looked at him. he has nancys shirt wrapped around him. "were gonna go to nancy's, me, robin, and nance are. to get guns." steve said. i rolled my eyes and threw my hands up. "what about me and eddie?" i somewhat yelled. "you can barely walk y/n. and eddie needs to watch over you. we'll be quick."
steve scoffed. him and nancy went to walk off as the ground began to shake. i grabbed a hold of eddie's shirt. and he grabbed me too, slightly pulling my hair. nancy fell back into steve's arm and robin grabbed a hold of a rock. then, finally it stopped. "what was that?" robin said, gasping for air. "i don't know. but it can't be good." nancy said. "well y'all hurry up and go ahead and get the weapons. just in case something goes down." eddie said, Steve turned "got it" steve said, walking off with nancy and robin.
