5 months later...

Dejah was in her bed with a face mask on. She was watching a movie and eating popcorn. Dejah got a phone call.

"Hello?" Dejah answered

"Hey Dejah, What are you doing?" asked Johnny

"Just in bed watching a movie. Why?" Dejah said shoving popcorn in her mouth

"Wanna go on a ride with me?" Johnny asked

"Sure, When?" Dejah wondered

"Now, I'm outside." Johnny replied

"Wow, most people will think that's creepy." Dejah responded

"When they figure out that I live next door and like to sit in my car they might see me being outside kind of normal." Johnny laughed

"I guess you're right, I'm on my way out." Dejah said putting her popcorn down

Dejah walked into the bathroom and turned the light, she turns to the mirror and notices she still has her face mask on. She panicked and rushed to rip it off her face

"Ow ow ow!" yelled Dejah as she ripped her mask off

She washed her face and rushed outside. Dejah go in Johnny's car and he drove off. Johnny took Dejah to Mulholland Drive so that they can sit under the stars.

"Wow, it's beautiful out here." Dejah said in awe

"You saw anything like this?" wondered Johnny

"Johnny, I moved here 5 months ago." laughed Dejah

"Thet don't have places like this in Michigan?" Johnny asked

"Maybe, I lived in Franklin Park, one of the top ten most dangerous neighborhoods in Detroit. Detroit itself is one of the top 3 most dangerous cities in the world so my dad didn't let us go out after a certain time. I could never go out this late there." Dejah explained

"Wow, you had it hard didn't you?" Johnny wondered

"Yeah, it sucked having to be scared of dying everyday." Dejah told as Johnny started typing on his phone

"Well, at least you are here now, in the 12th safest city in California." Johnny said

"Did you just look that up?" laughed Dejah

"No, I tried but it didn't load in time." Johnny laughed

"What does it actually say?" wondered Dejah

"3rd safest." Johnny informed

"Well, it is where the rich people stay." Dejah mentioned

"Are you going to make me feel bad forever?" Johnny smiled

"Mm, maybe." Dejah laughed

"Well if it makes you feel better." Johnny said looking up at the stars

"What made you decide to bring me here?" Dejah asked

"I actually come here every leap year on the 29th of February, this is the first year I came without my mom. I was supposed to come by myself but I didn't want to." Johnny explained

"Aw, you wanted to share this moment with me?" Dejah asked

"Yeah, why not?" Johnny replied

They stayed quiet for a second.

"Are you scared about the competition on Monday?" Johnny asked

"Of course, I'm always scared." Dejah mentioned
