The lights went down and the spotlight shined on Tyler's group as they started their tap routine. the guys were dressed in suits and the girls were dressed as Flappers. Their background was set as a diner and the dancers were smiling and dancing with joy. Everyone was dancing with a partner but Tyler, he was upfront dancing a solo with a big smile on his face. They finished their routine the lights go down on them and rise on the next group to the left of them. The Jazz group immediately started, all the girls were dancing on the floor first in a roller rink set up. They had high energy, smiles on their faces, and looked like they were comfortable. Later in the dance, the boys came out to dance with the girls. Their dance came to an end and the judges were standing up and applauding.
The next song started but it was dark for a few seconds, when the beat dropped the sound of glass breaking sounded and the lights turned on. Johnny and his group ran out in their all-leather hip-hop outfits with aggression and swag. They kept the judges on their feet, the whole time. The routine had the perfect balance of hip-hop and majorette, the energy stayed high the whole time.
Moving to the next portion drums started playing as the Majorette portion did a model walk out to the floor. Standing out front with the spotlight on them were Dejah, Raya, and Raven in army camo majorette outfits. When the music actually started Dejah danced two full 8 counts by herself and Raya and Raven danced by themselves for two 8 counts. The whole group began dancing like they were Dejah, Raya, and Raven's army. They were hitting all their tricks, and hair whips, and they all had entertaining faces.
The final group's music started and as the group exited the stage, Dejah, Raya, and Raven walked to their left into a jungle setup where the hip-hop dancers were sitting on the floor with army face paint on. While they were walking on the judges sat looking to see what was going to happen next. The beat dropped and all the dancers hopped off the floor and started the hip-hop routine. Dejah and Johnny were dancing next to each other and were dancing their hearts out. When they came to the end of the dance Dejah and Johnny faced each other and did a back spring, when they landed the music stopped and all the dancers fell on the floor simultaneously.
The crowd went crazy.
When the dancers came off the floor the rest of the team cheered and rushed to high-five them.
"Okay look, guys, remember about our secret stand 'Buck Buck Kill." Dejah reminded
(Flashback)
"Bucking is the thrusting of the pelvis, this stand has a lot of it. It has to be hard, it has to be aggressive, and you have to keep your facial expression. A long with all the bucking, their front walk-over ripple where you have to keep your right knee raised, crazy transitions, and a no-hand pop-up.
(End of flashback)
"We have practiced and we are as ready as we ever will be. Let's go kill it." smiled Dejah
"Next, we have our face-off category where all three teams will come to the dance floor to go toe to toe with choreography. There are three rounds and any team that comes in last place twice in a row will be eliminated before the last round. Let get welcome our teams, let's bring out our Pom team!" announced Jared
Christy, Stephanie, and the pom team ran out smiling and waving.
"Now for our Cultural team!" Jared continued
Shereka and the cultural team ran out smiling.
"Finally, we have our longshot team, majorette!" added Jared
Dejah and her battle squad walked out onto the floor.
"No cute little strut this time?" Stephanie asked
