They take Maisie home
M- what happened? Why were we at the hospital?
Lr- what did you do last night?
M- I went to sleep. Why?
A- lex, what are you asking?
Lr- I just want to know what she was doing last night
M- well sofie took me home around 10, after you guys had already laid down. So I used my key to let myself in and I got ready for bed and went to sleep
Lr- that's weird cause I didn't hear you come in
M- you can check the cameras, the same way you checked to see if I was drinking or not
A- what exactly are you implying here lex?
Lr- nothing. Just go get some more rest Maisie
A- what's wrong lex?
Lr-  nothing Andrew
A- mase, why don't you hurry
Maisie runs upstairs and locks her door
Lr- Andrew
A- Lexi
A- what are you doing?
A-me? What are you doing?
Lr- I just wanted to know what she was doing at sofie's
A- did you think she was drinking?
Lr- no, I know she wouldn't do that at 14
A- then what were you asking?
Lr- anything that has to do to why she wasn't waking up until at the hospital
A- there might not be an explanation lex. And you seem more off edge
Lr- what do you mean?
A- what's going on with you?
Lr- there's nothing going on with me
A- Lexi, I know this isn't just hormones from the pregnancy
Lr- how would you know? It's not like your pregnant with a baby your not even sure will last a week because your still in high school and you've been taking care of your little sister for all your life and she doesn't even care
A- Lexi, that isn't true
Lr- which part?
A- Maisie cares
Lr- are you sure?
A- of course. She knows how big a part of her life you've been, hell you practically raised her
Lr- I know I did and she hates me, what if our baby does too?
A- mase doesn't hate you and neither will our baby
Lr- how can you be sure?
A- who would hate you? I mean you caring, loving, and you deserved to be loved by the whole world. You give your all and I know that in your past people haven't given you the amount you deserve and I'm sorry for that
Lr- Andrew?
A- yeah?
Lr- Duck!
A- what?!
Andrew ducks down and Lexi gets shot. Andrew scoots over to Lexi and lays her head down on his lap
A- MAISIE! Call 9-1-1! NOW! Lexi, stay with me! Please Lexi stay with me!
Lr- i
A- you what?!
Maisie runs downstairs
M- what happened?!
A- did you call 911?!
M- yeah, but what the fuck happened?
Lr- it was the doctor from earlier
A- what? How'd he know where we live?
Lr- I don't know
Lexi starts to fade out
A- NO LEXI! Stay with me lex! I can't lose you
Maisie rushes over to Lexi
M- this can't be happening
The firefighters get there
Ff- what's going on?
A- she was shot
Ff- do you know who did it?
A- she said it was the doctor we saw from the hospital earlier
Ff- do you know his name?
A- no but I know what he looks like
Ff- we're going to need you to sketch him out to the police
A- yeah of course
Ff- do you want to ride in the ambulance with her?
A- me and Maisie need to go with her
Ff- only one person can go
A- Maisie go
M- but Andrew
A- I'll meet you guys there, now go mase
Maisie goes into the ambulance with the firefighters and Lexi. Andrew gets in his car and follows right behind the ambulance to the hospital
He runs inside and sees Maisie sitting in the waiting room
A- mase?
He runs over to her
M- they said they don't know if they'll both make it through
A- both?
M- Lexi and the baby
A- she has to make it through
The doctor comes over
D- the baby is putting Lexi in serious condition
A- take the baby out then
D- the baby won't survive
A- I don't care, we can always make another baby. We can never make another Lexi
D- if we take out the baby we need to take out her eggs too
M- what does that mean?
D- Lexi won't be able to have another baby if we take her eggs out
A- will it save her?
D- there's no guarantee
A- so it might not save her even if you take the eggs out
D- yes
The doctor gets paged to the OR and rushes down there
M- where's he going?
A- to save Lexi

In the OR
D- what's going on?
Ad- we can save her and the baby, but we're going to need a lot more blood
D- ok
The doctor rushes to get more blood and Lexi starts coding but they bring her back

Back with Andrew and Maisie
A- I don't know if your gonna be able to stay here mase. Do you want me to see if you can stay with sof and jer again?
M- I don't want to go until I'm being kicked out
A- ok

A couple of hours pass and Maisie falls asleep on Andrew's shoulder. The doctor comes out
D- it took a while, but she's stable, they both are
A- so you saved Lexi and the baby?
D- yes
A- thank you, thank you so much
D- she's not completely out of the woods yet. We still have to make sure she stays stable
A- ok
D- and she's not ready for visitors yet
A- ok. Have you contacted her OB yet?
D- yes
A- ok
The doctor leaves and Andrew calls sofie
Sd- hey Andrew
A- sofie
Sd- yes
A- Andrew starts to tear up a little
Sd- what's wrong?
A- can you just come to the hospital please?
Sd- sure
Andrew hangs up and sofie drives to the hospital. Sofie runs inside and goes over to Andrew and Maisie
Sd- why are you guys here?
A- long story, but since Maisie's asleep I guess I have time to tell you

Andrew tells sofie everything that happened
Sd- wow, that's a lot. But did you guys ever find I it what happened with Maisie?
A- we thought she did something while at your house
Sd- we? Or just Lexi?
A- sofie, she didn't mean anything by it
Sd- no I know, but if you guys don't trust me either Maisie
A- we do, sofie we do. And we're gonna need a lot more help
Sd- is Lexi ok with that?
A- she's going to need to be because the only other one to do it is Brent and I still don't trust him
Sd- ok
A- thank you
Sd- when do you want me to pick her up?
A- can she just spend the weekend with you guys? I mean if you don't have any plans
Sd- we did but we can put them aside
A- I'll have Brent take her for the weekend. I don't want you giving up weekends just yet
Sd- are you sure?
A- yeah, I mean what's the worst that could happen
Sd- probably a lot
A- yeah but bad things could happen with anyone. Hell I mean somebody showed up at the house today and shot Lexi. She told me to duck and I wish I never did because then her and the baby wouldn't be at risk right now
Sd- bullets are powerful, it could've taken you both out
A- I know I just
