A- I'm building something for you
Lr- really? What is it?
M- a surprise
A- yeah
Lr- so your not gonna tell me what it is?
A- nope
Lr- and the kids know too?
A- yup
M- we're not kids. We're not that much younger than you guys are
Lr- you'll always be a kid on the inside

Jeremy wakes up
J- when's dinner?
A- you guys just ate
M- yeah like 3 hours ago
Lr- I'm not hungry but you guys can go get something
A- we can just go to the cafe and get some food
J- hospital food?
A- yes, I'm not driving anymore today
M- fine, let's go
Lr- bye guys
A- bye baby
They leave and the doctor comes in
D- your vitals aren't looking too good
Lr- what?
Lexi starts coding
D- CODE BLUE ! I need some help in here?
Doctors rush into her room and they rush her down to an OR
An hour later, Andrew and the kids come in and don't find Lexi
M- what happened?
J- where'd she go?
A- I don't know guys, I'm gonna go ask. Stay here!
Andrew goes to the receptionist for the floor
R- how can I help?
A- where's Lexi ?
R- she was rushed into the OR
A- what? Why?!
R- she started coding. A doctor will be up soon to update you
A- soon? I need an update now!
R- she's in surgery, that's all I can tell you right now
Andrew goes back to Jeremy and Maisie
A- hey guys
J- where is she?
A- she's in surgery right now
M- why?
A- something happened so she was rushed into surgery
M- we should've stayed
A- you know she wouldn't want you guys seeing that
J- but we never should've left
A- she wanted us to go
M- but why?
A- she didn't want you guys seeing that
M- you said that already
A- I don't know what else to say you guys
Andrew sits on the couch and Jeremy lies down on him. Maisie lies down on the cot and Andrew scoots her closer to him. Jeremy and Maisie fall back asleep and a doctor comes in to update Andrew
D- she's stable right now
A- great

A month later
Lexi wakes up
Lr- hey guys
J- oh hey
M- hey lex
Lr- what's going on?
A- nothin, just go back to sleep
Lr- I've played that card one too many times. Seriously, what's going on?
A- so sofie called
Lr- what'd she say?
M- Hannah found out
Lr- nooo
J- and she totally flipped out and she fought Ben and she won
Lr- so what happened to Ben?
A- he's getting checked out in the clinic cause he got hurt pretty bad
Lr- oh crap
M- but he said he was gonna come up here
Lr- does he know about everything?
A- yeah, I told the group when you went back into surgery
Lr- that was like a month ago
A- yeah and I told them to not come by unless they are close
Lr- so now everybody knows about everything
A- not everything
M- he didn't tell em your pregnant
A- I wanted you to tell them yourself
Lr- so I get to tell Ben when he comes up?
J- yup
Lr- well I still need my appointment with dr Nash
A- crap. I forgot you didn't do it last month
Lr- the appointments are monthly
A- right. So is she coming here or?
Lr- she's coming here
A- ok
Dr Nash comes in
Lr- oh hey, I didn't think you would be here this soon
DN- I work here remember
Lr- right
DN- hey Maisie
M- hey dr Nash
J- I'm gonna go get some food
M- I'll go with
A- ok guys, be safe
M- we will
Maisie and Jeremy leave the room
Dr Nash walks over with her equipment
DN- are you ready?
Lr- are we finding out the gender today?
DN- yes
Lr- then yes I am ready
DN- ok
The doctor runs the gel over Lexi's stomach
DN- you see right there? That's your baby
Lr- wow. The baby's gotten so big
A- that baby's gonna be hard to push out
Lr- thank you for telling me that
A- sorry, thought out loud
DN- hopefully your baby boy won't be too hard to push out
Lr- what ?!
A- it's a boy?
DN- yes, you guys are having a boy
Lr- Oh My God!
A- We're having a boy!
Lr - we're having a boy!
Andrew bends over and hugs Lexi and kisses her
DN- you guys only have roughly 5-6 months left to get everything ready
A- I'm on it
Lr- wow, it's going by kinda quick
A- not really
Lr- we better start thinking about names
A- we have time
Lr- not if the baby comes early
A- don't jinx us
Lr- I'm not. I don't know exactly what I'm feeling but it sure doesn't feel good
Doctor Nash looks at the monitor
DN- it's just Braxton hicks contractions. Your not in labor yet
Lr- ok, good
Lexi sighs
DN- but if the contractions feel too hard and they start coming every 3-5 minutes, page me. Don't call me cause I might not pick up. So you need to page me
Lr- ok
DN- it's way too early for that baby to come out
Lr- ok
Doctor Nash leaves and Maisie and Jeremy come back
J- soo?
M- what's the gender?
Lr- drumroll please
Maisie and Jeremy do a drum roll in the table
A and Lr- it's a boy!
M- wait really!?
J- his name better be Jeremy
A- we're not naming our kid after anybody in the group, right?
Lr- right. But I have a couple of names in mind. You can veto them if you want
A- shoot
Lr- maybe Luke or Jordan
A- I actually like those names
Lr- so, which one do you like more
J- I like Luke
M- yeah same
Lr- ok
Doctor Nash calls Lexi
Lr- hey dr Nash, did you forget to tell me something earlier?
DN- yeah, can you put me on speaker?
Lr- sure
Lexi puts her on speaker
DN- am I on?
A- yeah
M- we can hear you
DN- so is everybody here?
Lr- basically yeah
DN- ok good
Lr- so what did you need to tell me?
DN- I didn't notice it at your first appointment and I almost missed it at this last one
Lr- what? Is it actually a girl?
DN- no. Your not just having one boy
Lr- how many?
DN- your having twin boys
A- what?!
M- oh wow!
J- oh my god
Lr- really?!
DN- yeah, look at your ultrasound picture
Lexi and everybody else looks
A- how did we miss that?
Lr- their both so big
DN- if you feel like switching doctors I completely understand because I
Lexi cuts her off
Lr- I'm not switching. I mean you weren't the only one who missed him
DN- yeah but I'm your doctor
Lr- and I'm the mom. I should've noticed
DN- no I should've noticed. I should be a professional at this
Lr- plenty of people find out their having twins after their first visit. You most likely weren't the only doctor whose missed a twin
DN- I guess so
Lr- I'm glad you told us now and not waited until the next appointment
DN- that would've been way too late
Lr- we still have the same amount to decorate a nursery, now it's just for two boys instead of one
DN- yeah
Doctor Nash hangs up
Lr- I'm glad she told us
A- yeah
M- I mean your really gonna need our help now
Lr- we're gonna have twice of everything. Diapers to change, cribs, formula, etcetera
A- we're gonna have a lot of people to help
M- yeah I mean you have us, Brent and Pierson, sofie and dom, Ben and the rest of the squad whose already graduated
A- yeah and we'll have my family too
Lr- I don't know how to do this. I don't have mom or dad to help
M- you've done it with me and you'll have Andrew parents
Lr- they probably don't even know about us
A- they do. When I told you I was building something for you, it wasn't just for you
Lr- what?
A- there's a plan in progress right now. I'm building you two things technically
Lr- can you finally tell me what?
A- fine. My family's buying the house next to us so they can help and
