Labor part 1

The doctor gets there in 10 minutes
DN- did you call 9-1-1?
Lr- no, I wanted to make sure it wasn't serious
DN- I'm afraid that your going into labor
Lr- what? Isn't it way too early for that?
DN- yes, which is why we need to get to the hospital quickly
Doctor Nash calls 911
911- what's your emergency?
DN- we need an ambulance. I have a 17 year old here who is going into labor at 23 weeks pregnant
911- we'll have somebody in your way as soon as possible
The ambulance gets there 5 minutes later
Ff- hello
DN- in here!
The firefighters rush into the living room
Lr- hey
The firefighters put Lexi on a stretcher and carry her out
DN- I'll meet you there Lexi. I have to take my car
Lr- ok
The ambulance rushes Lexi to the hospital with doctor Nash following behind. They get to the hospital shortly and Lexi's water breaks when they are taking her down from the ambulance
Lr- oh crap
DN- it's real now Lexi
Lr- it really is
They rush her inside and then rush her to a room on the third level
Dn- I've got it from here
Ff- ok
The firefighters leave
Lr- are they gonna be ok?
Dn- I'll make sure they are
Doctor Nash feels how many centimeters Lexi is and then she feels an arm
Dn- Lexi, I hate to be the bearer of bad news but
Lr- what is it?
Dn- the baby's breach. I need to turn him around so he can be delivered and we don't have a c-section
Lr- do you what you need to
Dn- it is going to hurt like hell, so I advise you have somebody here to hold your hand
Lr- ok
Lexi calls Sebastian, one of Andrew's friends
Sb- hey lex, how's it goin?
Lr- not good. Can you come to the hospital I'm in room 319
Sb- why? What's goin on?
Lr- I'm in labor
Sb- I'm on the way
Sebastian rushes there and he gets there in under 5 minutes
He runs up to her room, using elevators
Sb- what's going on?
Lr- just come over here and hold my hand
Sebastian rushes to Lexi's side and holds her hand
Dn- this is going to hurt really badly, so if you need to scream, scream
Doctor Nash reaches in and pulls the baby
Lexi screams in pain while squeezing Sebastian's hand tightly.
Dn- I'm almost done
Doctor Nash pulls him all the way so his head is facing out
Dn- I'm done
Lexi sighs
Dn- but your not
Lr- seriously?
Dn- I'm sorry, but you still have to deliver him
Lr- ok, I'm ready
Dn- ok
Lexi wraps her hand around Sebastian's
Dn- ok, now push
Lexi pushes as hard as she can while holding his hand tightly. She pushes three times and then one of her sons is born
Lr- why isn't he crying?
Dn- he will
A doctor comes in with a Nicu monitor thing and puts him in it. He starts crying
Lr- oh my god
Sb- do you want me to go get Andrew?
Lr- please
Sebastian rushes down to Andrew's moms room
Sb- Andrew, you need to come with me
A- what, why? And why are you here?
Sb- it's Lexi, she's back in here
A- what?!
Sb- she went into labor and she just gave birth to one of your sons
A- what?!
Am- go!
Andrew and Sebastian rush up to Lexi's room and hear screaming. They run faster
A- what's going on?
Dn- I have to sew her cervix so the other baby will stay in
A- where is he?
Lexi points over to the right where the thing is
A- he's so beautiful
Lexi stops screaming cause doctor Nash is done
Lr- I know
A- why is Sebastian here?
Lr- I called him
A- but why?
Lr- I wanted you to spend time with your mom cause I didn't think I was going to be giving birth
Sb- yeah, the doctor had to turn your son around inside of her to get him in the right position
A- why didn't you just call me?
Lr- you needed time with your mom
A- but I needed to be with you more
Lr- what do you want to name him?
A- you should've called, I would've been up here in a split second. I should've never left. If I didn't I would've been here with you
Lr- you were here
A- but not with you, I didn't even l ow you were here
Lr- we need to name him, what do you want to name him
A- maybe if I didn't leave, we would still have more time
Lr- Andrew
A- what
Lr- we still have time, and I still won't be able to help you at all. Now what do you want to name him?
A- Luke James
Lr- Luke James it is
A- you should've called me
Lr- I know.
A- then why didn't you?
Lr- I don't know why Andrew, ok. I just didn't
Sb- I'm just gonna go, but congrats on the baby. And thanks for calling me
Lr- bye
Sb- bye guys
DN- I need to take Luke to the nicu
Lr- ok
A- bye Luke
Doctor Nash leaves with Luke
A- Lexi
Lr- can we not argue right now. I'm just really tired
A- ok
Lr- thanks
Lexi turns on the tv and goes to sleep. Andrew sits on the chair watching the tv. He soon gets a call from sofie
A- hey sofie
Sd- hey, um where are you guys?
A- what do you mean?
Sd- Maisie forgot something in the house, and it was her key. And it doesn't look like there's anybody home
A- we're at the hospital. Room 319
Sd- ok
Sofie hangs up and dives to the hospital. Her and Maisie go up to the room
Sd- hey, what's up?
A- shh, she's sleeping
Sd- let's talk out here then
A- ok
Andrew quietly gets up and they walk out of the room and talk in the hallway
M- what's going on?
A- she had Luke, and I wasn't here for it
Sd- what? Where were you?
A- I was in my moms room downstairs and Sebastian came running in to get me and told me everything. I wasn't there for the birth of my own son. And I wasn't there for Lexi
M- wait, she didn't call you?
A- no, she called doctor Nash and they came here and then she called Sebastian so she wouldn't be alone
Sd- why didn't she call you?
A- she said she wanted me to be with my mom since she just had a heart attack
Sd- oh damn
A- yeah, and I flipped out on Lexi cause I was sad cause I thought my mom was gonna die but all I want now is to be there for Lexi
Sd- yeah
Lexi wakes up
Lr- hey guys, when did you guys get here
M- just a second ago
Andrew walks up to her
A- I'm sorry, I'm so sorry
Lr- about what babe?
A- that I wasn't here for you, and I wasn't here for Luke
Lr- it's not your fault, I should've called you. I don't know why I didn't
A- you were probably in shock and you didn't have anybody here with you
Andrew starts crying
Lr- heyy
A- I wasn't there for you, and I flipped out on you and then I left
Lr- I told you to go, I wanted you to be with your mom
A- yeah, but I could've went later. If I was with you, maybe
Lr- maybe what, you still got to see your son
A- but you couldn't rely on me to be here.
Lr- I can
A- but I wasn't. What if I'm not there?
Lr- then I'll call you. Your sons will know how much you love them, I know how much you love them, and me
A- but I wasn't here
M- neither was I. Lexi's my sister and I left her the first night she came home
Lr- you guys. I know I should've called you but I didn't. It's not your fault. Maisie, you deserve to spend the night and Andrew, you deserve to spend time with your mom. I guess that's why I didn't call you. I wanted you guys to be happy and joyful
A- we would've been here with you
Lr- I guess I didn't realize that
Andrew hugs Lexi from the side
