"Uh..." Y/n glanced down to the end of the hallway, "Are you sure this is a good idea?"

Not long after leaving the group discussion, Y/n ran into Lila on one of the higher numbered floors. They awkwardly paved their way through a normal conversation until they were somewhat comfortable while walking around. Y/n blindly followed her into an elevator, letting it take them up a few more floors. She didn't bother to ask what they were doing until Lila crouched down on the floor. She started picking the lock with a pin she had pulled from either a pocket or sock, Y/n wasn't paying attention to the finer details.

"Yes, no one else is staying here, I promise you." Lila cursed under her breath as she dropped the pin, picking it up and trying again.

"Okay... well, what are we doing, exactly?"

Lila sighed and faced her, "The rich people stay at the top floors. To get a nice view and shit, but now they've vanished off the face of the earth, so we might as well wear what they've kindly left behind."

"Hm, that's smart." Y/n nodded.

She went back to picking the lock, finally getting it to click the correct way, "Yeah, I know it is."

Lila shoved the door open, letting it bang against the stopper. Y/n shut it behind them and stood awkwardly as Lila rummaged through the dusted dresser. She went through whatever clothing items were left in their suitcases before pulling open the armoire.

"Jackpot." Lila laughed, sifting through the dresses on hangers.

She pulled out a dark green dress and held it up to Y/n. It was covered in greenish sequins of the same hue as the fabric underneath, there was straps to sit on her shoulders and cross along her back to be tied, and a slip on the left. It was tailored so she wouldn't trip on it and probably showcase her shoes a bit.

"Yeah, that might just fit your teenage self." Lila nodded, throwing it at Y/n, "Go change."

She slipped the dress on in the bathroom, tying the strings in the back together and stepping out to show Lila. The older had already put on on a black dress and similar to the one she had pulled for Y/n, it also had sequin sewn into it. It was shorter than Eights, stopping at about her mid-thigh, and the sleeves were long enough to reach her palm, yet it still fit her well.

She sighed while glancing over to Y/n, "Is there anything in the bathroom?"

Eight looked back at the counter, "Uh... some makeup bags. Not much else."

"Eh, I'll see what I can do." She shrugged, "You should be lucky you found me. Otherwise you'd probably have shown up in that mess you called an outfit."

"What would I have done with you?" Y/n joked with sarcasm lacing her sentence. She went to the armoire to find some shoes.

"Don't bother. All the shoes are ugly, so just wear what you had on." Lila directed her to the bathroom to do her makeup.

"Seriously?"

"Yes, you twerp, we don't have time to raid twenty more hotel rooms." She spun Y/n by her shoulders, pushing her towards the bathroom, "Go on."

The elevator chimed as everyone stepped out, safe for Luther, Viktor, and Sloane who were all on different elevator rides. With the way everyone had piled into the elevator, Y/n and Five hadn't caught a chance to see each other. From what she could see from the very back of the elevator, it seemed he was just wearing the suit he had been beforehand.

He finally did see her waiting a little by the elevator doors, admiring her as his pupils flared. Lila's makeup job wasn't as much as she had built it up to be, not that Y/n cared much. For sanitary reasons, she had used her fingers to dab on some soft highlights to her cheekbones, some blush to her cheeks, and Y/n just applied her own chapstick. She didn't do much with her hair besides styling it how she normally did.

"... Nice shoes." He commented as the corners of his mouth quirked up.

"That's what you chose to comment on?"

He sighed biting back the smile playing on his lips, "You look beautiful, darling." He paused for a moment, making deep eye contact while pulling her in to some sort of ploy, like he knew what he was doing, "Did that suffice?"

Her lips parted momentarily to speak, before closing and she just nodded simply.

"Oh, I'm not sure this place is gonna be big enough." Klaus stated while looking around the banquet hall.

"It better be an open bar." Allison sighed, leaning against one of the countertops.

"Hey, come on." Lila held her arms out, "It's for Luther. Let's perk up."

She spun around, seeing the vast room covered in decorations. There was a disco ball and other light fixtures, multiple tables with chairs and a dance floor, food and drinks off to the side, and some flowers here and there. Everyone stood around awkwardly until the elevator chimed, the doors sliding open to reveal Luther and Viktor.

"Ah, I see you've gone for the oversized button-down." Allison critiqued the moment she saw Viktor, "Original."

"You do realize there's no paparazzi here, right?"

Luther shushed the two immediately, "Listen to me, you two. This is my day, all right? So if you two can just get along for a couple of hours, you can consider that my wedding gift."

"Well, he started it—" Allison tried.

"You literally started it."

"Ah, ah!" He stopped them, "My day! Two hours. Do you think you can manage that?"

"Yeah, fine."

"Thank you." Luther sighed as the elevator chimed.

The door slid back to showcase Sloane in a silk, white dress, holding a small bouquet of flowers that were also white. Her hair was curled, cascading down the front of her shoulders and her back. She smiled at Luther lovingly and he returned the gesture.

"Let's get this over with before I die of cringe." Ben mumbled, pushing his way through the group.
